Keypad came equipped on my 23 XLT Hybrid. Not sure if standard equipment but was not ordered (Long McArthur).
It was standard on XLT and Lariat in 2023.

The community has spoken and Ford has listened. Keypad is now a Dealer Installed Option, cost is $230 and can be added to the order now.
I think Ford misunderstood....

We said keep it standard as a wired install, not upsell a glorified sticker that was already available for cheaper.

I mean, this is said to be a dealer installed option, so I highly doubt it's going to be hardwired, but technically anything is possible...

In reality, they've already cut the wiring out of the harness design for 2024MY parts orders. If anything, they plan on including a trim panel for the $230 to make the stick-on unit look built-in, hoping you never notice...

What about 400 watt inverter (In console) without purchasing lux pkg ?????
Previously was an a la carte option.

Not sure how that translates to 2024. For 2022-23, XLT and Lariat get SecuriCode standard, so those variants of the harness listed have the wiring for it. Have they changed the harnesses to drop the keypad wiring?

Only XL didn't get it, which is why there's the version for BLIS without keypad. The only options that XL got that should affect it are with/without CP360/BLIS, no keypad, no heated mirrors, etc.

This one sounds like XL without CP360 package except it's listed as having the spotter mirror that XL doesn't have.

It's stuff like this is why a parts counterman will ask for the last eight of you Vin.

It's too hard to decipher those descriptions at times.

According to a dealer on the Maverick Facebook group the keypad is bluetooth, not the factory installed hard-wired version. So it appears nothing has changed (except the price)>

Sounds like a place where you might want to use Ford points.

When I saw they were removing it I thought about switching to a base lariat but now with the forced luxury package it’s way more than I want to spend. So irritating to get screwed on the cheap truck I dreamed of just because Ford couldn’t get their ducks in a row.
