The keypad isn't available with the Escape or Edge is it?

Is that the same thing though? The $230 may be 12v the wired option that currently is factory only, vs that wireless one that has it's own battery.
Yes, it is the same as the picture showing $120 price. Since it is listed as stated " dealer installed option". If it were a " factory available option" that would be the hardwired in the pillar keypad that has been deleted for 2024.

My XLT has the keypad. I really like having it. I don't worry about leaving my keys locked inside. If I am in the garage and don't have my key on me, it is easy to get into.

Escape gets it for 23.
I went through the detail sheets on several 2023 Escape models and didn't see it listed. I think I saw 1 picture that might have it.

Still don't understand the hysteria about dropping the keypad. Some convenience but also a security problem for those that leave their keys inside somehow thinking they are secure. It is easy to break a window and find a key or just push the start button on the Lariat versus trying to hotwire it when no key is present.
It's just like a police chase I watched in LA yesterday. A guy was in a car accident (think he injured a police officer) and he carjacked a car to get away. High speed getaway but police finally spiked his tires. He pulled over next to a gas station and stole a car that had the keys in it (driver was walking into the station, police were pulling into the lot), he got away. Then he was still driving like a maniac and pulled into another station, stole a car with the keys in it. More speeding. Pulled into another station and you can guess what happened. All of this live with helicopter overhead. Even the commentators were saying why do these people leave their keys in the ignition. CHP finally boxed him in and crashed 3 cruisers into him to stop him. Stolen cars are opportunity driven except Kia which was being cheap on security.

Ok, didn't have an OG. Is it standard on all trims or just upper?
Optional with Tech Pack on Active, ST-Line Select. Standard on ST-Line Elite, Platinum, PHEV. Not available on Base or ST-Line.

Yes, there really are 3 “different” trims named ST-Line.

For 2022, it was SEL and Titanium, not S/SE. 2020 was SE and up, so they’ve de-contented over the years as they do.

So... I just checked Ford Parts looking for the door trim mounted keypad on the 2023 Maverick. The keypad and the trim piece that it's mounted to equate to about $70-80 in parts. That's pocket change.

The question really boils down to the wiring on the 2024s. If the harness already includes the plug, then this is a super simple upgrade. Pop off the old trim piece, install the new one plus keypad, plug in the wires, and you're better than halfway there.

If the wires aren't there and as long the wires just supply power and ground, then it should still be straightforward for Ford to fabricate a kit for the install. There may already be a constant 12VDC in the door and in that case a short jumper harness would do the trick. And if that constant 12VDC source is missing, then it would be easy to snake those wires through the rubber boot carrying the door wire loom to get to a fused 12VDC source in dash. Seriously, from the edge of the door you're talking less than 6 feet of wiring to make that happen. Even if it requires a CANBUS wire, then it still doable.

The bottom line is that making this retrofit look like factory install keypad is probably not all that hard and could probably be done for cheap. Of course, Ford will get their money for having one of their engineers think up what I just typed, plus procuring/assembling the kit components and putting it in a box.
