Horizontal Entry Keypad On 2025 Models?

I don't mind this, but how do you access it without your key? You're Eco Boost right? I think this might not work for hybrids due to the pressurized system?

I have an Ecoboost. The fuel door doesn't lock. I'm not sure what the Hybrid fuel door is like. I don't think the fuel system being pressurized would interfere with sticking the keypad there. As long as it closes and doesn't lock.

The space wouldn't be the problem with Hybrids. The pressurized system locks the cap and you have to use a button to depressurize. I don't think there's a manual override.

Oh Hybrids have a fuel cap? The Ecoboost does not have a fuel cap.

No, hybrids do not have a fuel cap.
The fuel door on the hybrid locks.
Due to a pressurized fuel system.

I like this. I'll probably get one after I get my vehicle, and this looks like a good place, the numbers being sideways doesn't bother me at all. The other alternative is in the bed somewhere or along the back window.

I’m looking at installing mine in the hood / windshield cowl on drivers side haven’t figured it out yet…

Originally I installed that wireless keypad on the tail gate. I'm diving out of this truck and it was more logical location for the guy in a bulky dry suit with massive tank on a back. Idea was perfect. But honestly that location didnt work that well. I always had a red light on the pad and couldnt even lock my truck. Looks like keypad had problem connecting to the computer from this distance thru a couple of metal surfaces. Only when I reinstalled the keypad on the side of the driver door (traditional location) it started working as expected

Wait! You got your keyless entry keypad? I've been waiting for mine since I took delivery on August 31st. It was ordered with the vehicle in January. Dealership still cannot tell me when the keypad and the Hood deflector will be available. I just sent a letter asking for a refund.

My keypad location:

This is where I installed mine too. It is a dealer installed item, they weren't happy about giving it to me without installing it though. Yes, the buttons read sideways but it is not a big deal. I think it looks best centered and just above the door handle, I just didn't want it on the paint.
