When I picked up my truck this week the salesman was showing me how to use the code, add my own, and I told him not to bother, I'd never use it. Got home, set it up, and I'm using it all the damn time now! Geeze, I was totally wrong, it's a handy little tool.
Same with me. Had it on my F150 did not use it for a year. Then I discovered it was a small thing that separated Ford from its competitors. Glad I got a 22 power rear widow, wiper driver and keypad.

I ordered a xlt 2023 back september 2022. I finally got email from ford saying
they will start my build week of september 2023; it says my truck includes the keypad.

I don't understand. Why are you saying it is an option? Do you mean 2024 trucks?
Yes that is a change for 24MY.
