I'm looking to remove the headliner to add sound deadening and insulation. Is there any videos you guys know of doing this? I can't find any videos showing how to remove it. I don't have a sunroof

Share a link? I see some post with pictures.. and the manual but I'm looking to see a video to know from what angle I should pull/push to not brake the clips

I have a lariat with the sound deadening windshield and an XLT LUX. The lariat is much quieter than the xlt. I had the airbag recall done on my lariat and the headliner replaced which had to have the front seats removed, so I was told. I have not seen any video. When you replace the door weather strip do not fully seat the rubber along the top do not stretch it along the top either as it just barely covers the edge of headliner. It needs to be "fattest" and "lowest" as possible to cover the edge of headliner. Before you take the rubber out look how it fits the headliner and you will see the issue. After the dealer tried to fix mine I pulled the rubber down some and got mine to cover the edge of headliner. The dealer had to replace the A piller trim as the clip with the screw broke when the trim was removed.

Headliner lowered in JcrOffroad's "Ford Maverick Roof Rack Install" youtube. But it has a sunroof.

First thing don't work with any of the plastic trim pieces when they are cold. Second thing if you are just wanting to get the headliner down to install insulation or do wiring then seats can remain in place. They do have to be removed if you need to remove headliner from vehicle.

I would love to see someone run a flattened tube over the headliner that's big enough to pass a USB connector for dash camera wiring, etc. Overhead would also be a sweet spot for a custom switch panel. If you did all the heavy lifting with relays, this could be pretty small with 24 AWG wiring to control them.
