Much easier than expected. The doors are really easy to get into as long as you have the proper trim tools. The back wall was the biggest pain due to all the little cuts and shapes plus having to remove all the computers speaker and amp stuff. Here's a few pics. Absolutely no more rattling anywhere.

Any sound difference? Less road noise? Engine noise?

Definitely a big difference from the road and a huge difference In stereo sound. Not to sure on engine noise yet since I ran out of material before I could do the floors. However with the stereo sounds much better I don't hear the highway noise anymore lol

is the sheet material self-adhesive? If yes, I wonder how long it lasts until adhesive could dry out or harden and start to let go? If that happens inside the doors, could it interfere with window mechanisms and require intervention? Haven't researched the material myself and just curious..

How much does the added material weigh? I might consider doing this as long as it isnt like over a hundred pounds or something like that, since I am getting the maverick hybrid specifically for its fuel economy

Hoping someone will make a wiring harness with line level out from the rear speakers to hook up a subwoofer

I’m sorry, you did what now?
Hay guys in the old days they sold rust proofing and drilled maybe 100 holes in a new vehicle to spray in rust proofing and a lot of people bought it, then had rubber plugs to fill the holes, not to long after all the holes were drilled they started rusting at all the drilled areas. I remember telling my customers Don't do it and the aftersales guy told my boss on me and tried to get me in trouble, boss never said a word to me he knew it was crazy but was a big money maker for dealers. Made me sick to see these guys drilling holes in new vehicles. for you young guys this was 25/30 years ago.

Yes it's self adhesive, I've used it for a little over 3 years now in my other vehicles. I have not had any problems with it at all falling off or loosening of any kind. No problems to report on mechanical interferences either. 36 sqft is the coverage of the full box I ordered and it's total weight is 17 lbs. So spread out its not bad. Remember it is a truck after all a little extra weight won't hurt the fuel economy. I will say that the sheets do make the doors feel alot heavier when closing. You'll get used to that it feels very solid....MAT66 ProBlack 80 mil 36 sqft Car Sound Deadening Mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Vehicle Audio Sound Insulation and Dampening Material

Looks like a good job! Please share specifically what the proper trim tools that you used are. Thanks for the photos of the back sides of the door panels, it helps to figure out where the fasteners are. . .

On the doors, did you do the metal door and the skin?

For the floor I recommend Lizard Skin spray. You're going to have everything out and it's a more cohesive coverage.
