Remote start useless for Hybrid

Why do I have a remote start. It seems useless!

Probably on a hot or cold day, when you want your cabin to reach set temperature, before you sit in it.

Heated seats and steering wheel in the winter, AC blowing in the summer, okay I'll buy that. First time I used it I thought the gas engine would start and warm up.
I'm on the right page now

Idk I use mines every day in south Florida tricks , hit max ac before you get out make sure it's not on auto settings in the settings menu and your truck will be that much cooler by the time you get to it you can also use the app to start it anywhere then really get the truck cool when you come out of what your doing

Used mine the other day and the AC was blowing full blast at the seats. They were nice and cool when I got in.

I use it all the time. AC in the summer after work is amazing! Getting into a cool car instead of 100f+ is great. I do find it doesn't turn on the heat during winter but it will blow hot air immediately if using remote start in the Winter. I love starting it from my watch too. So convenient.

Yes you are, my friend. Use it in a really hot really cold day and when you open the door to your Maverick, you will discover the magic that is the remote start. 🪄

I use the app and it works most of the time. Not useless at all.

First time I used it I thought the gas engine would start and warm up.

With A/C, the ICE (InternalCombustionEngine) will eventually start to charge the battery, once the electric A/C has used a certain amount of battery charge.

In winter, the ICE will usually start immediately upon remote start, if you have the Heater set to max temp/fan before last driving the truck.
