another update: after the dealer changing the Fuel vapor vent valve the problem still exists! Talked to an old buddy today who has a 2023 Maverick and he hasn't had an issue with the pump shutting off. I'm going to where he gets gas next time I need it.

Update: I took the "little fellow" to the dealer, they replaced the Fuel vapor vent valve. I'm expecting the problem to be fixed. Thank you, Dorian Ford.

My previous truck was a used Chevy and I had to take the cannister off and blow it out, a lot of dirt road came out of it. An easy job and it worked fine after that. Thank you tcotti2003.
