Remote start in FordPass app

I don't have a remote start on my key fob but I can start my truck with the FordPass app. I tried this while in Phoenix (hot day). It started OK but did not turn on the A/C which is what I wanted. Is there a setting that will allow the A/C to start with the app?

Thanks for the reply. my manual has it on page 125. However, when I go to settings / vehicle/ ... There is no further option for climate control. So I guess I am doomed to getting into a hot truck.

When you remote start your truck, it should start at the AC/heat settings that it was when you left the truck.
If it doesn't there is a problem.

The setting you need to change is not in the app, it's in the truck instrument panel.

I have a 25 XL and mine works perfectly fine once I remotely start it. It uses the same setting as when I turned it off. No changes required.

Read the manual just a tad better.

And yes - whether you like fish or not - it appears we are all trying to help you feed yourself for more than a day.

When you remote start your truck, it should start at the AC/heat settings that it was when you left the truck.
If it doesn't there is a problem.

Technically that's not on by default. I know I had to go into my settings when I first got my truck to turn it on.
