How are you doing the bungee? What are you attaching it to? I have a road bike. (Bicycle) that I’ve been doing the same with. But instead of a bungee, I’ve just been kind of leaning at it off to the side not sure that’s the safest.

I kept both the stock conti tires and the steelies. Right now they’re in my garage, and I’m considering selling them on marketplace as a package deal. Still some decent tread in the tires

Thanks! I haven’t weighed the wheels myself yet, but I might try using a bathroom scale just out of curiosity. Good to know the 1,375 lb load rating is cutting it close on the rear axle with full payload, but still within spec — that gives me some peace of mind. And yeah, I was surprised too...
