Nothing wrong with a CTS-VDidn’t word that well.
13 mpg in a CTS-V moving to TDi.
Second! Those suckers are faster than they need to be for sure. Hopefully we get a performance pack from Ford that will un-cork a few more ponies.Hell no!!!!!
My Eco is a freaking 25 MPG rocket. No exaggeration, my Maverick is fast, almost ridiculous for a small stock truck. It’s not a performance car but damn for what it is…very quick. I have surprised a ton of people at stop lights, it’s funny when they can read my tailgate letters before they knew what happened.
My base hybrid XL is scheduled to be built on September 19.Currently have a 2012 Chevy Colorado that gets about 20 mpg. Can not wait for my Maverick and will get 40 to 50 mpg. Although gas has gone down a bit, I was spending $100 a week just for commuting to work. The $ savings will take care of a substantial amount of my payments. I rarely go over 65 and never over 70. If I want to go faster, I will watch a Star Trek episode. Hoping for delivery by late October.Ive read thread after thread and as expected, everyone justifies why they purchased what they did. I’m curious if anybody hates their ecoboost or hybrid and wishes they went with the other one and for what reasons.
I’ve been dead set on one or the other one, switching weekly as both have their pros and cons.
LOL......SLOW YOUR ROLL COWBOY...its quick for a little truck...they are not fast by any means...Hell no!!!!!

let me add a little different perspective on this; my wife and I are both on Social Security, and it pays all our monthly bills including mortgage, utilities, etc. with a little left over + we both have retirement accounts. Neither of us typically drives more than a few miles per day. We share a 2018 F-150 with 5.0 V8 that gets 17-22 MPG depending on conditions. She has a Subaru Outback DD, but actually uses the F-150 more doing horse riding stuff. I have a Grand Cherokee with V6 4WD that gets about 17 -25 MPG depending on exact use/trip. We also have an E450 based RV that gets at best 12 MPG on the rare occasion we use it.I got an ecoboost because I need AWD, but I totally respect the money you can save with a hybrid. I was curious to see how much you'd save over 10 years at $4 a gallon, so I whipped up the Excel sheet below. If you add another $400 for the upcharge to ecoboost, it's about $5,000. So yea, I respect that. For a retiree on minimal Social Security, or a young family - $500 a year saved is a lot of money.

Not compared to a performance vehicle but it is compared to just about every thing else, especially for a compact truck. Depends on what you are comparing. It's not a GT Mustang but it sure as shit isn't a Prius. Yippy Kia YayLOL......SLOW YOUR ROLL COWBOY...its quick for a little truck...they are not fast by any means...
NO regrets Hybrid engine. Its amazing.Ive read thread after thread and as expected, everyone justifies why they purchased what they did. I’m curious if anybody hates their ecoboost or hybrid and wishes they went with the other one and for what reasons.
