The truck I got without ordering (lucky) had all the options I would have ordered except missing 4k towing . don't really need 4k towing so not missing it . wish full size spare was and mounted on matching fx4 rim . Have hitch and can tow 2k when needed . I had to take what was available so happy with what I got . so far so good . even got color I would have ordered (51) . Truck had eco , xlt , fx4, 360 , hitch , floor mats . added after market avs bugflector ll , modified ranger drop in Bedliner (used $25) and undercover armor tonneau . still considering minimal fender flares and mud flaps ?

XLT, check. Luxury package, check. spare tire, not so much ok. Still wouldn’t change anything. Tonneau and splash guards added later. Now it’s right where I need it to be. I smile every time I get in it!

This can't be a question for anybody in my boat; Lariat Lux and checked all the boxes. No regrets at all There are things I would like to have but these simply were not offered. I'm interested in how bloated the Maverick will get in the coming model years.

I bought mine after the original purchaser declined the order, so in one sense I didn’t get choices on the options.

I do like the Adaptive Cruise Control on my Passat, and I wish the XLT base package had this as well. That, and wish I had a full size spare lol.

The XLT Lux should have a more defined ammenities like push button, DRL, Proximity key, Passenger automatic seat, wireless apple car play

The Lariat Lux should include ventilated seats, better interior, bigger screen, moonrood if not, panoramic moonroof, better back up camera quality (maybe 360), 60/40 split.

And before we hear "oh but it's a 20k truck" well it's not when you add packages. And those features are already available on a Nissan Rogue I have.

People are buying top trim Lariat. Why not offer more competitive features? Yes it will be close to 40k but at least you would have a chance to buy it at MSRP versus a bare XL also selling close to 40k due to ADM

The lariat lux does offer a few of those. Sync 3, backup camera is better quality, and 360 features are more advanced.

Only 3 add ons wanted. Backup sensors, cooled seats and home link.
I've had cars no seat belts, no power steering or brakes. No Air conditioning. No tinted windows.
Thank you No, kinda like many of the new doo dads.

I did add the rear speaker for awesome sound on what ever AM station I could find.
The homelink rear view mirror from the Toyota Corolla works great - DM if you need parts info. 5 minute install no wiring - 10 year battery operated.

Glad I changed to the hybrid getting about 50mpg in this expensive gas time.

This is actually what I kinda wanna hear. I have both XLT and Lariat on order and I have been going back and forth between the two on which I'm going to keep.

I hear the Lariat us not worth it because it's the same build quality as the lower trims. But I'm so use to the creature comforts the Lariat brings to the table and anything else I might regret later.
I mean yeah a lot of the parts are the same (but that's kind of true of any vehicle model with multiple trim levels). I have no complaints about build quality generally.

I feel like you get a lot for your money. Leatherette seats, ACC, lane centering, better dash screen, better infotainment software, backup sensors, keyless entry and start/stop, B&O sound system, etc. It adds up. And a lariat lux hybrid is still only a little over $30k MSRP.

I might delete fx 4. It's a good deal for upgraded rims and tires and the bigger dash screen is nice but pretty much everything else just duplicates the towing pack. I also would rather have sport and eco as opposed to mud ruts and sand.

The fact that I DIDN'T delete fx4 also tells you something.

Probably wouldn't have done First Edition because I don't really need the sunroof (I knew that), and I'm not wild about the stickers and can't see the black roof. The folding tonneau, however, is quite a nice surprise.

Where is this article?
I don't know where they got the placement but the wards was the one that voted the Maverick. I beleive towards the end of this month they will publish a article each week of one of the winners. I don't know the place but I do know the maverick was of the top 10.
