Personally if I found a hybrid at MSRP I would get it as soon as possible. Dealers cannot be trusted. Uhhhhh yeah we have to return your deposit, the truck was damaged in shipping ...... uhhh no, a lot guy ran into it..... uhhh no, the craziest thing happened ..........

He's right.

We all remember the Maverick that was "damaged in transit" while on the way to Gary Yeomans Ford - Daytona Beach.

I initially went after ordering a Velocity Blue one. After some family voting we decided on the Alto Blue for the order paper. Its kinda a neat color, Ive seen pics but none in real life yet so I'm sure it'll be a surprise whenever I get mine in who knows at what date many months from now. It looks black, greenish, dark blue, metallic depending on what light its in from what Ive seen from the pics.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter what any of us think. Do you like the color. If so great. Get it. If you’re not sure, then wait for what you ordered. You can do it. I’ve been waiting since mid July. It gets built next week. After a few months you stop thinking about it all the time.

I'm curious what the FE package would look like on a Velocity blue. Thinking maybe that black might not be so complimentary on it.
I'd priced out a Hybrid Lariat lux with the things FE comes with (minus painted roof and decals) and it wasn't really that much different. Kinda like they threw on those things almost for free. Not to mention, ordering a First Edition meant you were going to get your truck in the actual first year lol

I did the same - priced out a VB version and it was a little more expensive but was missing the extra accents. I agree - gotta figure at least we're not going to be bumped to MY23 if nothing else. LOL

Definitely a personal choice. Trust your gut. If you see that velocity blue truck and think to yourself "I'd like everyone to see me driving that," then it's worth your money. If instead you think, "my brother would punch me if he saw me in that," then maybe not. I wanted carbonized gray initially but I love my shadow black now that its mine.

I ordered a Carbonized Grey Lariat, Lux, 4K, SIBL, Moon, 360, Eco 2.0
Been waiting I know, I know... 6 weeks now. Seems like an eternity.
I found a Velocity Blue, Hybrid, Lariat, Lux, Moon, 4k, SIBL about a hundred miles from me in Ga.
Planning on looking at it on Saturday. I have never wanted a blue vehicle.
Anyone that has gotten the Velocity Blue, whataya think of the color?

I love my hybrid especially with the cost of fuel today. Avg mpg to date 48.7

Ya I got a alto blue 2.0 xlt with lux and fx4 coming.. The sales manager was honest and said I'd be lucky to get it early fall, most likely late fall or pushed to a 23.

Hybrids aren't available with 4K tow package as that requires AWD - only available with 2.0L EcoBoost for MY22. Otherwise - nice find.
