My recall was completed overnight about three days ago. Unless you are in a rush, it will be completed without a trip to the dealer.

My 2024 has the failure and like the tens of thousands of pre-25 and 26 trucks, we have to wait until Ford figures out how to fix them. My dealer was willing to charge me for a diagnostic and pretended not to have ever heard of the problem so I decided simply to help publicize the issue on as many on-line forums and sites as possible. Bad publicity is just as effective as good.
We had to pay extra for the trailer package and I expect it to work as it affects the safety of the vehicle when it is towing a trailer. You shouldn't have to buy a new truck to fix a safety issue. I could, but it sure wouldn't be another Ford.

All but one of .my 2026 Maverick Hybrid 4K AWD calls have been do OTA at night for free.

My 2025 updated OTA with no issues last night. Starting up the vehicle, it showed the update was successful.

Wait, when did this happen? I can see it if it happened before the recall was issued. If it was after, and they charged for a known recall, that is just wrong. Did you file a complaint with Ford (not the dealer)?

I had the trailer and the park module recalls done a few weeks ago.

I chose the mobile service and they came to me, they did it in my driveway and it took maybe 45 minutes.

The longest part was scheduling the appointment since i think it was over a month wait.

It shows you have a 25, why did you even need mobile service? Just download and install yourself OTA.

Not sure, had the park recall for a while and i was hoping it would ota, but it didnt, when I got the notice for a second recall in the app, i waited a bit then just made an appointment and by the time the appointment came it hadn't updated.

It wasnt a difficult process, not like im upset with it or anything. It took 45 minutes in my driveway, i wasn't inconvenienced or anything.

the appt was on may 7th, maybe now theyre rolling out the ota updates for these, but at the time it didnt seem to do it for me.

I got the letter from Ford a few weeks ago, but my app says "0 active recalls."
This is for a 2024 XLT EB.

Anyone have this completed? Just got a letter from my dealer stating they need the truck for a full day. Do they really need that much time for a program update?

It was done wirelessly overnight last week. no problems.

My trailer lights and brake signals quit a month ago. I received the over the air update last weekend and hooked up my trailer to test afterwards. Everything is now working correctly.

Dealer mobile unit did mine in my driveway took about 35 minutes

My 2025 installed it automatically a few days ago. I got numerous 'warnings' on my display what day and time it would happen and warning that my vehicle may not be available for use during the update. It also gave the option to reschedule.
