That's the kind of traffic he (don't want to assume he) was weaving around in?!! good grief.
He must have thought he was out in the wilderness leaping some berms needing to push down some trees to crawl over.

Hope that is easily repairable. Sorry to hear.

Jeep driver needed an ass whipping.
At the very least you all should develop neck problems and get free chiropractic and massage treatments for about a year. Then refuse to settle bleeding his insurance company as long as you can.
That should insure his rates go as high as possible.
The therapy will do you good.

What is the purpose of that thing in the front of the jeep?
Think of it as the tab on your next favourite beverage...or, maybe in this case it's a handle to carefully lift to place it in the nearest scrap metal dealers crusher without getting stupid on yourself!

Really though, they need to get the electric fence back up around Angus so that their village idiot stops escaping. "YEEHAW, IM GOIN TO THE BIG SMOKE!"

The Maverick is totaled no doubt.
Unibody is bent ahead of the left tail light assembly.

For an extra $80 a year I get a new zero mile never titled replacement for FIVE years if I get totaled. It pays what ever sticker is even if more than my 2024 was.
Only catch is I can get up to the Lariat trim.
If I pick a new one with more xtra charge options above the Lariat, like Tremor or 4K tow I’d have to pay the difference.

Mavericks total out when thumped, sad.
But my ass is covered.
Right before the five years is up I will trade it in.

This throw away society sickens me.

What matters is what's underneath, not those rails. Those bed rail panels can be removed and replaced, we've seen it done.

The only reason the Jeep faired well is because of the sturdy brush/bull bar. A strong well made front bar can take lots of abuse and protect the plastic and thin metal of most front ends. Very glad you and your family are OK.

depending on how picky you are - you might be best to write it off and get a new one or go Ranger

Your poor tailgate took the wrath of that ridiculous bumper. If that wasn't there it would be a total loss. Too bad you couldn't get a copy of their dash cam video weaving in and out. Would be epic for the insurance companies
