I got mail from Ford for extended warranty. I looked at the price at Grander Ford too.
What is the diff. if I get it within the first year or before the end of 3rd year.
Right now, my truck has about 3100 miles at 9 months.

Play around with Granger and enter information for various years to see what the increase is but the price WILL increase.

I found it matter if I entered more than 11,000 miles the price started to increase so I purchased at 10,650.

The price will increase after 12 months as well, beyond that I have never played around.

If you're interested in a warranty and you plan to keep your Maverick there is no better time to purchase than now. Ford will raise the price annually, sometimes twice. Also, you will get a prorated amount of your warranty back if you cancel (because you've sold it, or just don't want the warranty).

coverage the same based on date of sale of the the truck, so if you buy it now you’ll probably pay less than 2-3 years for now. We purchased our 10/100/0 from granger the day we bought our truck. Warranty price has gone up since then.

Just go ahead and buy it now from Granger. You are Not going to find a better price on a Ford extended warranty and the cost does go up every so often. Buy it now so you lock in the lowest price that you can.
Granger also uses a finance company called Budco who will finance it for 18 months at 0% interest. It’s painless. If you have some bigass electronic/computery thing go kapluwy right after your factory warranty expires, well, that won’t be so painless.

Btw price for warranty seems the same regardless of trim so loaded lariats seem to get the best deal. I also recommend considering the lighting rider. The headlights on the lariat are over $1000 and are only covered if you get the added rider.

The extended warranty will list a page of stuff that is covered. Yay!

Also, a page or two of exclusions in smaller print that will not be covered. Boo!

Pay attention to the exclusions. Of course, any extended warranty will exclude stuff that wears through normal wear & tear. Tires, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, etc.

My extended warranty also excludes welds, glass, any damages caused by owner’s mods, etc.

I'd asterisk the 0% interest with the fact that it adds a not inconsiderable finance charge to utilize. Interest baked in, essentially.

Just be aware if truck2 yrs old, you get, say, 6/75 mile warranty, it not starts at day you sign up. It starts at day you purchased truck, so prob get only 4 yrs, out of the 6 yrs warranty implies.

i didn’t get Ford nor Granger flavors, rather Ford of Greenfield.

I got a couple warranties from the dealer free - with many exclusions, and requirements.
It's ONLY good when I use them for repairs. Not a problem for foreseeable future - no plans to move.
But I think I already blew the lifetime drivetrain warranty by doing my own oil change and service checks at 10k.
The free 1 yr warranty they included paid for itself (ha!) - 2 new tires, chipped windshield repair. Was trying to figure out way to get a free fob - but they would have programmed out "lost" one. Ugh - just realized how.

If you bought a better version of something like that from the dealer - might read your fine print.
I still got the cheaper deal Granger for actually covering everything.

I've always gotten the Ford extended warranties from Ziegler Ford located somewhere out on the inter webs. No dealer at point of purchase could or would touch their prices (and the F&I guys always hated when I brought them up).
