I come here semi regularly and browse topics as I await my own truck to arrive, and I am astounded at some of the things people complain about. I don't mean to pick on the OP specifically in this case, but you came on and made a post about water bottle fitment. Really? And I've seen a dozen online videos of people using various bottle such as the hydroflask referenced earlier in this thread that fit perfectly. It isn't that hard to find something that fits. And if not, every car Ive ever owned previously has not held every liquid container ive tried to put in it perfectly.
I'm gonna see how it works and I might hack it.

16oz coffee black no sugar in the morning, and a cup of strawberries. That's breakfast. I also do a 24 hour fast 2 days a week. I subscribe to the thoughts of if you can pick it, or kill it, you can eat it. If it comes from a box, for the most part, leave it alone. Wife and I are considering keeping chickens as well.

6-8 teaspoons of sugar. Damn, does he drink that coffee with a fork?
I don't go crazy but cut out sugar, flour and processed crap. You get used to it after awhile.

Hey quick question for y'all I have an XLT AWD on order. Do the XLTs come with the card slot in the center console? Or is that a Lariat only feature? I am hoping my XLT has this. It will be perfect for storing my parking pass i use for work.

Any Maverick without any buttons there will have it. Ford puts in the card slots instead of just a blank plate when your vehicle doesn't have those buttons. My Escape has one there which is where the Active Park Assist controls would be.

Does your maverick have the card slot? What buttons are there? Mine is an XLT AWD.

Yeah I know. It's crazy. He drinks Pepsi and drinks chocolate milk a lot also.

I've heard the occasional fasting is good for you. Don't know if I could do 2 fasts per week, but I want to start off with at least once a month then maybe increase it over time to like maybe once per week. For breakfast I usually drink either a Carnation instant breakfast of a glass of milk with protein powder. No solids. Usually on the weekends I don't eat lunch. I'm not really overweight, but I want to lose like 12 lbs and increase my muscle mass. Don't want to be one of the old guys with the big spare tire gut.

I just want to rant a little about the "Water Bottle" design of the doors. It is well documented that nothing fits well in the front door holders, I've tried four different bottles, none would fit, all for different reasons. After my fourth purchase a few weeks back I made peace with the fact I just wont be able to use it for anything other than a throw away bottle of water and I've resigned to using the rear door holders for transporting my bottle to work and school and back. I keep my backpack back there anyways, so whatever.

The last bottle I purchased was this one. It almost fits in the front except its too tall. Well today I was driving back to work from school and took a turn and I hear my water bottle fall out , well it did it in such a way that it popped the lip open and I hear the unmistakable glug, glug, glug sound of all my water pouring into the floorboard. Luckily I have all weather floor liners so the water is just a puddle and not leaking into the carpet. But this bottle is too small for the rear doors now, and wants to fall out. What kinda Goldilocks ass water bottle fits this truck?

Who the hell designed these doors and for what water bottles? Nothing fits just right. Why won't ford release a list of water bottles that fit in the door as that was a thing they used a ton in the marketing? Hell, the "official" maverick water bottle from Ford doesn't fit in the front door. Just a cursory glance at both doors and I can't see a reason why the front door pockets could have the same size bottle holders as the rear. None of this makes sense.

Rant over...
I know you probably don’t want to hear this but by accident I discovered some wine bottles fit perfectly in the front door panels and actually snaps in tight!!!!!! The girl I was with bought a bottle and she was actually the one who tried it and it worked! I couldn’t believe it! I putted it out and snapped it back in multiple times wondering if we actually found so thing that fit the spot, and we did!!!!!!!

hydroflask 24oz snaps on the front door perfectly. I've had it in my truck for weeks and it hasn't come out.
I looked this water bottle up on Amazon, and there are two different sizes for the 24 oz. Is it the standard or the wide-mouth design that you purchased? Also, thank you for the post!

It’s the standard mouth bottle the fits. The 24 or the 21 will work. They’re the same width just different height.

It’s almost as if they have a custom size water bottle that only Ford is making and will sell you …all for the princely some of $99.95!😂

That's really REALLY strange. Southern Ontario here and all pop (soda) cans fit as do the standard cheapy water bottles (500mL). Even a medium Tim Hortons coffee fits in there? Sorry to hear about it not working for you.
