I see many posts on this forum that mention problems with Mav Hybrids like "Deep Sleep", axle problems, grabby brakes, etc. Are these the exception or the norm?

I'd like to know how many people on this forum have had NO problems with their Mav Hybrids.

Please comment only if yours is a Hybrid, with NO problems and please include:
1) Model Year
2) Month/Year of delivery
2) # of problem free miles

My Hybrid Lariat, MY24 (23 rollover) is in production now (Oct 26, 2023) and I hope to have it soon. I'm optimistic that my Maverick will be problem free for many years and miles.

2023 model delivered 1/23. 8000 miles with no issues. No return trips to the dealer since I drove it home. I think you will find many more problem free hybrids on the road than most will think because of all the issues posted on the forum. I did see one member (Cubican) who says he has 2 hybrids in his fleet with 100,000 miles with no major problems. That gives me some piece of mind.

Many hybrid/EV vehicles experience these problems. Go on Toyota, Range Rover, ... forums and read the complaints, especially deep sleep and regen brakes.

I will qualify my response by stating that the infotainment system works in mysterious ways, but I refuse to put apps on my phone, so maybe I am partly to blame. I buy trucks to go from one place to another, I don't need to be entertained.

Our 22 hybrid, Sparky, was placed in service in October 2022 and has 8,600 miles. No problems.

Our 23 hybrid, Gracey, was placed in service in June 2023 and has 2,600 miles. No problems.

Deep Sleep is NOT necessarily a problem in itself. It is the car doing what it is supposed to do, conserve its battery. When the battery won't start the truck, that is the problem. I've had deep sleep many, many times...but it has never failed to start. No other issues for me.

I agree. The only issue I got is deep sleep. But I got a dashcam running 24hr everyday, I guess that's why it never sleep enough.

Prior owner received it in 5/2023, reported no problems to me up to 1700 miles.
I purchased it 9/2023, currently at about 4000 miles, no problems. No deep sleep, no grabby brakes, no axle problems. One emissions related recall but I could care less about that.

Radio screen sometimes freezes. Not very often, but when it does it sucks. It has happened maybe 20 times.

Tiny rattle on the left hand side of the steering wheel dash, I press the dash and it kinda goes away.

Brakes while moving very slow kind of suck, not too much, but compared to a regular ICE vehicle, you can tell the difference.

Ambient light, sometimes turns off but I go to settings and turn it back again. 3 times this has happend.

Thant's it, no more complaints or problems.

I absolutely love my Maverick.
