I've updated the photos in the first post in this thread to reflect quality improvements as I continue to make additional brackets.
In addition, materials that I use to make the brackets are made in the USA - the steel bar stock, chain links, and powdercoating powders.

Couldn't agree more with having a jump box. Even just having it along is worth some peace of mind. I've used mine on occasion and it sure beats waiting who-knows-how-long for roadside assistance.

Welcome. When I was shopping for mine, the scummy behavior of the dealerships made me end up buying one from a private individual instead. It's nice to hear when a buyer makes THEM work for it.

It's my understanding that the center of the hub is meant to support the weight so the lugs/lugnuts do not. A brief online search didn't definitively answer this question for me before I ran out of patience. Regardless, even though I'm not one of these safety preachers who often post and I roll...
The accidental locking had plagued me too. I got super irritated and fixed it. Made a simple 2-piece 3D printed solution that works well in preventing accidental pressing of the lock lever and button. Took a bunch of iterations though, like anything worthwhile does...
