I am actually taking an optimistic view of the recent date change from August to September. I believe the change is due to Ford
actually listening to its dealers and customers. For the past few months dealers and customers have been communicating to Ford
the major problems with opening the order banks August 2nd, especially for unfulfilled MY22 orders. I'm not going to list all of the well
known issues but I foresee a much more logical process for transferring the MY22 orders to MY23 in September. The most important
changes are that customers will know the "special offer" details as well as the MY23 details/costs at least a week before the order banks open and that
there will be a short period of time when only MY22 transfers will be accepted before new MY23 orders can be placed.
You can't have it both ways! You can't complain about Ford's incompetence but then when they react to the complaints - you still complain.
