Order date change

I just got two separate emails just before my scheduled build date, each pushing my production date back one week.

February 14th isn't too bad, but what am I supposed to do with all these 1 liter water bottles?

Well I just got an email that my xlt build date has been pushed back to the original date of 28Feb. Let's hope that's it!

I think the push dates everyone is getting are worse case scenarios. My Hybrid XLT Lux Package, SIBL, Carb Grey, Manual window went in to production on Dec 13th. It sat in this status until Feb 8th. My delivery date changed from Jan 23rd to Feb 23rd and 2 weeks ago April 23rd. I had my dealer run the vehicle visibility report and it showed on Chip hold. This past Sunday I received an email from Ford that my truck has been built (2-13) and then today 2-15 my vehicle has shipped and estimated to dealer in NJ week of March 11th to 17th. I was thinking with all the delays on parts and chips I wouldn't see my truck until May at the earliest. Based on what I experienced if you recently had your production date pushed 2 or 3 months that might change for the better. If your truck has been stuck "in production" Ford does seem to be adding the chips to these models to get them shipped.

OK, I'm beginning to feel like a yoyo! Just got another email from Ford that my build date has been moved back up to 21Feb! I ordered an XLT, Area51 paint, AWD, Co-pilot360 with soft tonneau cover, bed mat, cargo net and full sized spare. I guess they found an extra chip for the co-pilot360!

seems like I'm also getting that news from my dealer, original build date was 2/21 then just got a text from them moved it to 3/11. Order date is 7/06/21 Hybrid XLT Lux package iconic silver

I didn't begin receiving email updates from Ford until after I contacted the Ford Customer Service 1-800 number last October. I had been getting reports from the Sales Mgr at my dealer but had never received a confirmation for my order until I called the Cust Svc Line. I believe the rep on the phone corrected my email because after our phone call I suddenly received my confirmation email (backdated from June), and shortly thereafter received my first "scheduled" email. My last update was from 2 weeks ago setting my move to production week of 2/21. Fingers crossed...

My order date was 6sep2021. First notice of receipt of my order was 8sep. My first build date was issued on 13jan for 28feb. Next build update was 29jan for 21feb. Most recent updates were 14feb moving it back to 28Feb and last one was the following day moving it back to 21Feb! It's been 3 days since. Keeping fingers crossed I don't hear from them again until sometime on or after the 21st that it's being built!
