Just got back from my dealer and they still do not have the fix from Ford. My truck sits in the lot awaiting delivery to me. Ordered 9-16-21 , arrived at dealer 10-13-22. Oh well

Ford just came out with a fix. All they need to do is update the ABS with the FDRS.

Hoping most of the serious kinks are ironed out with 2023 trucks, especially ones that will be getting later production dates. Actually kinda crazy to see so many recalls for trucks that literally haven’t even finished getting built yet.

It's a Ford, I've owned quite a few and they have all had their fair share of recalls. I have a conspiracy theory that it's their way of getting their grubby mitts on your vehicle while it's in the shop to upsell other work haha. I do all of my own maintenance but I spend a lot of time in the Ford service department due to recalls.

Just forwarded the info from the Nov 1 update to my salesman. He's going to look into it and see if the update is available on their end. Fingers crossed.

A little update, salesmen called me a minute ago and let me know they have the update. They're going to perform the update tomorrow. And I should be able to pick it up here in a few days when I'm able.

Update from me too. My salesman said just this morning that they are able to install the new software. Sounds like I'll be picking up my truck today or tomorrow!!

I believe my dealer wasn't aware that the update was available until I forwarded the updated document and the instructions on how to perform the update. If you text or email your salesman, I would recommend downloading both docs from the thread and send them in. There is that possiblity that they may not be aware of it yet since it just released earlier this week.
