October Hybrid Orders United

As a follow-up, I texted my dealer just before Thanksgiving to let him know I wanted to stop by next week and pick up a printout of my new order. He said no problem and let me know the other two hybrid orders with VINs as well as mine had been switched to priority 10. My dealer (actually the sales manager) and I have a good relationship so far. I still had time from the original post to get things squared away, so I didn't want to be "that customer". I have an order number and sales code for a 2023 Maverick XL as well as the $2,750 Maverick transition private offer (all verified through Ford Marketing/CS). When I do go in this week to pick up my printout, I will ask him to update my email for the new order so I can get emails from Ford instead of having to bother him.

All's well that ends well.

Look forward to here updates, especially when you have the keys to your Maverick!

My canceled VIN rollover just scheduled. I ordered XLT Hybrid October 2021. Since XL got cruise I switched it over to an XL for 2023. Now scheduled for production week of January 23rd.

Having been down the road before I will believe that date when I see it.

I'm not sure yet if I will end up keeping it. I did buy a rejected order XLT because we needed a vehicle sooner than the rollover was going to come in. My wife has completely taken over the XLT- she loves it. I only drive it about once a week.

For sure I'm taking the XL when it comes because I'm not impressed enough with my dealer to hand them a free $5,000+. A lot can happen between now and delivery so I'll keep my options open.

I do like the XLT interior and the luxury package stuff is great but the XL with cruise is a great basic package and I even like the steelies.

Yep, already bought and have an XLT from Long-McArthur in Salina. This one is my original 2022 order from a local California dealer.

Might keep it, might sell it, might just walk away from it. I don't have to decide until it is shipped to the dealer. If I decide not to keep it I'll check with my network of friends and family to see if anyone would want it. If no one does then it is a question of what I could get for it. The dealer hasn't done much for me so if a hybrid is selling for $5,000 over sticker I'm not really inclined to just let them have all that money.

I'd certainly consider selling it to someone from the forum for a reasonable price if it turns out I don't want it.

But Long time to get there especially because I don't actually believe Ford when they say they will build it in a week almost two months from now.

I am in the same boat...ordered 10/9/2021...VIN assigned August 2022, cancelled, re-ordered 11/17/2022. Hybrid lariat lux with 360. Still no VIN or production week, just sitting at priority 2 indefinitely it looks like.
