Take it from me. It's better to be waiting on a built truck than being transferred from 1 line you've already waited in for over 1 year to another line to continue the wait for a truck to be built.

My salesperson called me this morning and said my hybrid has arrived at the dealership yesterday! I asked him if he is messing with my emotions because I visited him 2 days ago, we both saw the ETA delivery was going to be around Nov 26ish.

So, I have an appointment to pick up my hybrid tomorrow @ 4. Had my insurance person email him proof of insurance and told him I wanted to take advantage of the 36-month 0% financing based on my order date.

Now I'm researching rust proofing and an elevated rack to go with my hard roll up tonneau cover

Well received my 10/05/2021 CO Lariat Hybrid today (FYI: 395 Days). Price Protection/Financing Protection (1.9%). The dealer did add about $725 between 2 dealer fees. I am trying to rationalize it by saying, ok, I did get the $500 Farm Bureau discount - but I still know they stole $700+ from me. They weren't budging. At least it wasn't $2k-$7k ADM that we have been reading about. Oh, and when I said no to the 3.9% financing and whipped out a screenshot of the then-in-force Financing and reminded them that I was protected - then they went back to finance and came back out with the corrected rate saying "they clicked the wrong box".

I am relieved that the second one I ordered was from a different dealership that did NOT require a $1k deposit and that the sales manager promised via text message that there are no additional fees other than tax, actual cost on tags, and $150 dealer fee. That one I expect will be in late next year.

Similar thing with me, my ETA was pushed back on 10/16 to Nov-24-2022.

Starting to think that Ford tracking is a mess.

Called Ford yesterday and the build week was changed to Jan 9th. Called dealership. My salesman and the original sales manager had left. Uh oh.

Talked to new salesperson who is supposedly a factory order specialist. We had some back and forth about the Maverick my22 to my23 conversion process and could tell she was bullshitting me. I e mailed her the Ford memo, Tim's video and a simplified summary of the conversion process.

Called her back and discussed the process again. Her response was basically "Don't worry, I got this."

My gut tells me this truck ain't happening.

my order comes out 581 cheaeper now with transistion offer and additional 500 off from joining farm bureau since my original order which is the only plus since my order over 375 days ago

Called my dealer, said mine is now scheduled for Jan 9th and I got the price protection. They had one on the lot they aren't able sell because of the airbag recall...they said maybe by Q1 it would be resolved..yikes.

Is your 11/28 for a rollover 23 or is it for the original 22? I thought 11/21 was the last week for 22 builds.

Just got a confirming email from Ford as to 12/19 build week.

Went to see the dealer yesterday. I've been rolled over to a 23 with a build week of 1/9. He said that he couldn't pull up an order number or VIN as the 2.5l motor is the current constraint item. Not sure about that one. I am of the belief that the 1/9 date is another "place marker" as the December date was. After a call to their regional rep, he said that more should be forthcoming around 11/9.

What was your OTD total? Mine was $31,752 including tax/fees. I took 0.9% for 48.

Well, I finally have my Ford Maverick hybrid in my driveway after 1 year & 21 days now. My sales person at Serra Ford of Rochester Hills, MI was great! Purchased the Maverick at our agreed price (MSRP), 36 months @ 0% with only 500 down (free money) and most importantly no pressure to buy any extra add on!

I'm pretty impressed with the Hybrid, the sound system is OK for my aging ears, a bit loud when the engine kicks in, kind of don't like that I have to keep switching the drive mode at startup (sounds like a simple programing change to keep it in the last driving mode at each startup), the interior is good for what I paid for it and great value for a little truck!

Now I just have to install my Ford hard roll up tonneau cover, the elevated rack (this should be in tomorrow) and do some research for undercoating.
