October Hybrid Orders United

I ordered 10/21 and just got a VIN today 06/22 after calling customer service. No email was received. Does anyone know the typical wait from VIN to build?

Was it for a hybrid? Because your signature says Eb

Called Ford AGAIN today. No build date and no vin. Same nonsense about order processing. A Velocity Blue base xl hybrid with only a drop in bedliner. Was VERY patient with Ford for months, but to still have no build date after eight months is unacceptable. No more excuses from Ford. This is not Pony Express times or World War II going on right now. Gas prices are killing me, cutting into what I was saving for a down payment, plus lost amount of trade in. Afraid I will not have mine by September 30. Ford has lost so many sales because of their debacle. If I was a gambler, I would just start putts big money into my 2012 Colorado, but I have never kept a vehicle this long and starting to get nervous.

The dealer (South Bay Ford, Hawthorne, CA) called me yesterday. They said that I am now a priority 2. At the pace their orders are moving, they estimate that my order with go into production in the second half of August. The salesman said the the biggest hassle from their end is the shipping delays. This dealership took 168 orders, the most in Southern California.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your dealer. I should have ordered from them, but selected another local dealer. Did they sell it to you MSRP? I might order from them when they open up in August, my dealer keeps giving me the runaround, (they acting like they don't know what an ROVP is).

I got my vin# and 8/8 for production xlt only option trailer hitch hybrid, placed order on oct/25

My 10/3 order was scheduled to go into production on 6/6, then 6/13, then 6/27. Contacted Ford through chat yesterday and it has been pushed to 7/25. No email notification this time. At this point I might would rather have a 23 if it's going to be September or October before I get it. Lariat Hybrid, most of the options.

Got my VIN 4/28 for a 10/4 order.......still not built ......last I checked was 8/1 week of

Still a planned build week of 8/22 for one with a VIN. Nothing on the other yet. Both hybrids.

Compounding the matter, in addition to the Hybrid constraints, any rolled-over orders with other constrained parts (Lux, CP-360, etc.) may still be delayed when the MY23 cycle begins, which could in turn mean that newly ordered XL Hybrids still get built prior to rolled-over MY22 XLT Lux Hybrids.

I’m just an XL with 360, still waiting……
