Nothing Bad happened to my XLT Lariat Lux. No new recalls, no breakdowns or accidents, no dead battery and not even a new door ding at the grocery store. Just plain nothing. Should I be worried?

I just hit 32,845 miles on my 2022 XLT Hybrid. I have only had one problem. The tire pressure sensor on the left front wheel went out. Replaced under warranty at 28,644 miles. That's it nothing else. Very satisfied with my "baby truck."

I've got just under 14k on my 2023 and it was my daily driver until I picked up my 2023 Mach E which has taken over the daily job. Now my Mav performs most out of town or hauling jobs. I just ordered the Mabbett 3 light hood protecter that will cover all the sandstorm damage from back when it was new. I love my Mav.

The truth is you're in the vast majority of Maverick owners. Most people who are happy with their truck don't bother to go online to talk about it. This forum represents a subset of owners who are either really excited about their new truck and want to talk about it or have a grievance and want to complain about it. Even though there is a high number of doom and gloom or bash posts on this forum I wouldn't let it keep you from enjoying your truck. Just keep the potential issues in mind and carry on. You don't have a problem until you HAVE a problem, so to speak.

I agree with you there; I would have liked a more resilient material on the door panels as mine has many fingernail scratches from reaching for the door release and my watch will scratch it while going for the seatbelt.

Should I be worried?
Yes. Ford has been trying to find you. There are 45 safety recall letters with your name on them, but your dealer gave them the wrong mailing address. One of them is a "NOT SAFE TO DRIVE" notice for the "My Truck Is Fine, 25S01-911" recall. All the Mavericks that are reported as "fine", have a a faulty rear axle that may fail at any given moment, this could lead to critical damage to your vehicle and serious injuries or death in the event of a crash. Contact your Ford dealer for more information.

All of us with new vehicles are like this at some point:

"This balloon represents your peace of mind. I'm going to POP IT -but I'm not going to tell you when!!

& I just realized Denholm is giving us the finger.

Yes, be worried cause a bird is gonna poo on it.
I'm not kidding, a bird shit on me through the sunroof (score one for the XL crowd) and hit my forearm and center console and splattered all over the shifter dial and cupholders.

I felt like vomiting (but that would have only made it worse) so instead let out of a string of vulgarity my 8 year old is probably still telling his friends about.
