Given the choice, I'd rather have a USB full of music than streaming. I don't like having to burn data just to play music. And it's easier than trying to figure out how to sync iTunes to an Android phone. *glares at Google for killing Play Music*

"Certificate of Deposit" lol
Millennial here, and I still remember those things. There was a time when they got a decent return. And then retirements got turned into a stock market casino... damn it, where's my back pain medicine.

Being a 71 year old boomer i transferred my better records to the computer, then copied them to a jump drive.stuck it in my stereo and truck radio.this means my music is always good!so thats progress and is the easiest way to play music on a radio.

I'm 68. My spouse is 74. I haven't seen a CD in probably 15 years. But if you have an older desktop computer, you can probably buy a flash drive, plug it in the USB port, insert your CD, and copy all of your songs over to the flash drive.

flash drives are the way to go now. I still buy CDs, but immediately rip them to my computer. It makes it more convenient too. I have separate drives for country, Christmas, and a 64gb for Metal and everything thing else..mainly metal.

Correct, it is an early '68 as you noticed the rectangular rear side marker. It is an original color Highland Green Metallic, same as the McQueen's Bullitt. It was an S coded 390 GT but I pulled it and replaced with a 428 SCJ.
Sounds sweet! My '68 GT500 was an early car so I recognize the lights. I also own one of the first early street 68.5 CJ Mustang cars. Zero option, radio delete original 430/4 speed car. Fresh off concours-like restoration. Barry at Survival did the motor. I run a Liberty TKO600 with a stock lever so it looks stock but can be street driven with the 430 gears and F70 Polyglas tires.

Here's the vid on the dyno, Concours-like restoration so virtually stock everything (heads, single point distributor, yellow top coil, stock 100lb iron intake, stock holley, stock restrictive exhaust manifolds). Lots of cam, valvetrain, head work and careful assembly) Did 450+/479 as pictured. The exhaust manifolds likely cost me 50hp. Relatively weak by today's NA standards but strong for 55 year old stuff

take care

Technically a boomer here (born 1964) but I identify as a Gen X’er😀

Assuming you have a smart phone…..Spotify is the best. My CD’s are now packed away somewhere. Also I have loaded some of my fav CD’s on my phone via Apple Music.

Step 4: Here is where it gets tricky: Buy a USB 8 track player. Unfortunately, I searched, and it doesn't seem to be any around. So installing a CD player might be impossible.
