I stated in another post that I will sometime need power to the bed of the truck but not often enough to justify the package with the bed power. but enough to run power through the rear widow to the power plug in the cab. frivolous yes, but for $150 I will take it.Just curious what is the use case is for such a small back slider that is manually opened except on Lariat ? Seems like the brackets to open/close & frame are larger than the actually opening- lol
Do they plan on throwing Doritos out ? lolCuz my kids will love it and I’ve spent a ton more than $155 to entertain them in past.
The trick for me will be getting them to close it.
There’s no telling…they might, lol!!Do they plan on throwing Doritos out ? lol
Must have a small headed dog to accomplish this feat -)Seems there are quite a few reasons to add the rear window. Dogs love to stick their head out and say hello to all the other cars.
I can only think of a handful of dog breeds whose heads can't fit thru a 7"x11" opening.Must have a small headed dog to accomplish this feat -)
Ok I need to start measuring dog head heights - lolI can only think of a handful of dog breeds whose heads can't fit thru a 7"x11" opening.
From the picture I took on Lariat it looks like the motor for the window is mounted just below the window, of course you'll need wiring and a switch to go along with it the motor, but I'm sure it would be possible.I wonder how involved it would be to convert it from manual to power. I'm sure it wouldn't exactly be cheap, but down the road. You know, when Maverick Lariats inevitably end up in the scrap yard, may be able to source the parts somewhat reasonably. I'm hesitant to add it to my XLT build for the same reasons, I think if I could convert it to power later on, I'd be more likely to consider adding it.
It's a lot cheaper to get the $155 Manual Sliding Rear window than the $795 sunroof.4 windows and a sunroof- shouldant that be enough air flow ?
