I think you just need to ensure you allow auto updates on your info screen - I got the notification but haven‘t interacted with my Maverick since being notified
Mine does that too, and it hasn't got the update. All summer I could drive out of my neighborhood without the engine starting, but this week it's starting shortly after I leave my driveway.
These are the modules involved in the updated (on my 25 XLT hybrid): ABS, BECM (battery energy control module), PCM, & SOBDMC (secondary on-board diagnostic control module c).
My 25 AWD Hybrid updated last night and I distinctly remember my miles until empty being 241 and with about 1/3 tank left. After the update before I even backed out of the garage my miles until empty was reading 141 while still showing 1/3 of a tank. Hopefully this will recalibrate like others have mentioned. I drove in town to the store and back and really didn't notice anything different performance wise but I drive pretty easy so maybe I'll need to check again
