Not generally a frequent participant on message boards anymore but do find a lot of good infomation from time to time so thought I would jump in here for what it's worth. Hello from DeKalb, IL, we're glad to be here!

Anyone remember the Grabber package from 71-76 on the "other" Maverick? When I ordered mine, it was replacing both my F150 which was more truck than my needs required at this stage of life, along with my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost, or my "toy" so I wanted something to stand out a bit as I like to hang out at cruise nights and car shows. I thought of making mine a Ranchero, which is what I thought Ford should have named these little trucks in the first place, but then remembered the coolness the Grabber package added to the little Nova competitor when I was entering adulthood in the 70"s.

So, there you have it, I took delivery July 1 this year of my 24 Lariat Ecoboost, rolled it into the garage and went to masking and painting some more personality onto "Bret", my new toy. Not as many folks remember the Maverick Grabber as do the Ranchero but we've jogged a few memories hanging out with the local crowd!

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. Looks like you got room to spare in the garage, that's gotta be nice.

Welcome to the club. Best people in the world here. You're in good company. Your Maverick looks good with the added graphic. Subtle so as not to detract from the Maverick's beautiful lines. Best of luck and happy & safe travels.

Thanks, everyone! Normally I'm not a fan of "Decal Performance" either and have no intentions of hopping this one up as I've already gone through that phase of life. I like the quiet so I can listen to the music from my USB music stick, set the cruise, turn on the air or heated seat and steering wheel, whichever is needed, and this little rig is quite quick enough for my current advanced stage of life. 90 mph at the end of the I88 on ramp, is just fine me me these days!
As for room in the garage, that space belongs to my wife's 2.7 Nautilus but I do have a fob for it so I can move it out of the way when needed!
Well... I might add a second tail pipe and some chrome tips under the bumper, but not without a muffler to go with it...
