Did some truck stuff today! šŸ¤£. I just wanted to show the $200 dollar Amazon bed rack in action. It just has clamp mounts. I was a little concerned it was junk. But with the clamps tightened down it worked perfectly. Not even a wiggle with the (small) load. (Maybe 100lbs. The wood was REALLY wet)
I only put this rack on when I need it. Otherwise I just keep the bed cover on. Takes about 10-15 minutes to put the 2 pieces on and tighten the clamps). Seems to be pretty solid. Says 800lbs capacity (Iā€™m not going to try thatšŸ˜†) so far so good.

The truck still drove well with approximately 500lbs in the bed.
Im pretty impressed that the different drive modes work as well as they do. Iā€™ve driven a few vehicles where it was barely a perceptible difference. (I used the tow/haul mode)

Thatā€™s a different kind of look you did with the front bumper.

Reminds me of a previous world leader... But I can't remember the name...

Can you share a link to the amazon rack you used?

I donā€™t know how to link itšŸ™„šŸ˜†. Itā€™s a ā€œvevorā€ brand. Just search that brand and do the ā€œmake sure it fits your vehicleā€ thing)
It was on sale when I bought it. The price has gone up $40šŸ™„. They have a couple different models. This was the height adjustable version. It takes a lot of fiddling around to get it adjusted where you want it. Once there itā€™s good. But to readjust you have to loosen everything up to make any changes in height. (Loosen 12 Allen head bolts, adjust and re tighten it all). Also the lowest setting isnā€™t very low. Maybe just under cab height. If thatā€™s a consideration. (Some are much lower). I need it over the cab and I could go even higher than I did.

I swear I saw you driving around this weekend, how was the rear sway bar install? Thatā€™s next on my list of things to do.

I live in Gresham Oregon. If youā€™re in the area?
Sway bar went pretty well. (I posted it somewhere šŸ¤£šŸ™„. I havenā€™t figured out how to post stuff in the appropriate place yet šŸ¤¤)
I got the good-win racing one. The steeda version isnā€™t much stiffer until the max setting.
Itā€™s not a bad install. I took the rear passenger side wheel and tire off. Jacked up the back end and removed all the bolts. Threading the old one out and new one back in was the hardest part. Dropping the drive shaft would have made things easier but I didnā€™t want to mess with it. The heat shielding was the hang up for me. After several swear words it just popped outšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø. Same going back in. I canā€™t explain how but at a certain point it just pops and bobs your uncle. Thereā€™s a few scratches on the sway bar, nothing bad but ya canā€™t see it anyway. I went with the middle setting. Feels great. No difference in normal driving but much better as you corner harder. Much more neutral. Iā€™d like to firm up the front just a bit. Maybe some better shocks. Iā€™ve had some good sports cars in the past and this handles at least as good if not better. (Tires help considerably!).
Thereā€™s 2 other trucks the same color as mine. Both are bone stock. I think Iā€™ve seen only one in chili pepper red (good color!). And thereā€™s a tan one in town. (Wasnā€™t available when I orderedšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø. But I like the color I got and itā€™s growing on me more so.

Good to know, thanks for the info, Iā€™m in Gresham too so I may see you driving around (24 HPR BAP). Iā€™m about to order some Eibach springs for mine.

Nice! And different.
itā€™s hard to keep the grill clean with all the little nooks and crannies.

After waiting 8 months for my truck to arrive and lots of planning for what mods I wanted Iā€™m almost done šŸ¤£.

Itā€™s a ā€˜24 XL, 4K, tailgate lock. No other options. (I hate all the electronics).

so the list of stuff is; and most obvious, the wheels. Focal ā€œF448ā€ 18x8 40mm off set. (Donā€™t get these wheels! They require a center drive extra long lug nut, stupid design) milestar m392 255/65/18 tires. The wheels are color matched with Seymour ā€œgrayā€ color number 61. (For those looking for a matching color inexpensive spray paint.)

I ā€œwrappedā€ the center section of the front bumper. EGR vent shade's. cheap Chinese Tri fold cover. Lasfit switch back bulbs. Cheap led back up bulbs. A green filter in the air box. A fair amount of faux carbon fiber bits for interior looks. I got a duraliner bed liner but itā€™s garbage. Fit is just ok. Holes where you donā€™t need them and no holes where you do. Doesnā€™t come with the tailgate piece(I dont understand this). So I had to order a separate piece. I have 6 red tie downs (factory ones painted redšŸ™„) there are pre taped holes for 6.

Up next is a good-win rear sway bar. Tint front side windows. And an exhaust system. Also is a bed rack Iā€™m currently assembling to haul kayaks and occasional lumber. (Looks like a Thule but cheap Chinese copy) adjustable height and will hold more weight than I will ever need. Also looking at the Mabett? Fender flares. I like the idea of the black running all the way down the sides. Thanks for checking it out!

Like the grill/bumper treatment. Most likely best on a light color vs darker.
