Started working on cars when I was 14 and my single Mom came home with a rusty 64 Falcon. 2 cars inc. a 70s Mav, 6 trucks later and never paying more than 5K, I now have my first car payment!
Watched the market and happily held off. In the meantime, I found the metal steer sign in my profile to hang on my fence for a mere $5 at a flea market
This January started to see more inventory. Saw a dealer post with a loaded XLT for $700 under a base model elsewhere plus $500 off of the $33,800 MSRP.
2024 XLT AWD 2.0L Ecoboost in Carbon Gray Metallic
Lux pkg/ 4K Tow pkg/ Co-pilot 360
Interior: Weathertech mats, Sill protectors, replaced the Orange main console liner added liners and trays, Home Depot 12" Husky flashlight nestles nice between seats. I keep safety equipment in the drivers rear seat well and a Marine size fire extinguisher fits next to the seat with a couple wristbands for cushening
Exterior: Bret sticker for rear window, Gray Ford badges and carbon fiber tail gate stickers. Tail Assist, Stubby antenna and trailer hitch step
Went with Lund Genesis Elite for the bed cover, the texture of the marine grade fabric looks well with the Carb Gray
Cargo bar is from my F150 -adjustable painters pole with narrow roller handle to use as a hook to grab stuff from the front of the bed, and an old milk crate on a Velcro strap for loose cargo or use as a stool.
