Didn't know you can get cabinets disassembled. Let us know how it goes, been thinking about replacing ours but it seems like a big job.In the spirit of the OP, pictured is a 1300 lb. load of RTA kitchen cabinets. They loaded the pallet into the bed with a forklift - I had to unload them by hand. Now I need to assemble them.
I will say that the standard tie downs, and in the case of my '24 Lariat hybrid, the sliding tie downs on a track, worked well to secure the load.

You can also buy just replacement fronts to remove and replace the doors and drawer fronts including the face frames (the cabinet box front the doors attach to and drawers close to). If face frames are good you can just refinish them and buy new doors and drawer fronts. If the boxes are good you can save a bundle!!!Didn't know you can get cabinets disassembled. They're known as RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets. They are better quality cabinets that can be purchased at more reasonable prices from RTA manufacturers.Didn't know you can get cabinets disassembled.
trailer might be safest depending on how it's constructed. but in a pickup bed, all the way against the cab wall is pretty safe for people in the truck. if you get rear-ended with a lot of force it can eject rearward, but hey, that's the fault of the person hitting you.Be careful when hauling this type of cargo. Very dangerous projectiles in event of a collision.
I have landscape rocks to haul. I expect It will wait until spring & I'll put them in my trailer.
That blue is sure a nice color.
I scared too to haul dirt, and then gravel on the spray in coating. And then dragging shovels on it. To better protect it, I put in a large HD tarp first, let front end loader operator dump dirt n gravel in the bed. The tarp also helps to get the last bits of material by pulling, rolling it towards the tailgate, dumping into wheelbarrow.Imagine that ! Our Tonka toys actually hauling stuff.
I’ve only got 90 miles on mine,
Still scared to scratch the factory spray on bed coating in my Lariat :’D
rocks belong in a glass with Scotch to comfort themMoved some 3 man rocks today. 3 man? Yeah 3 to lift into truck.
