My ‘3 man’ was an 18 year old, 16 year old & 73 year old! 😲
And knowing kids these days I bet the 73 year old did most of the work. 😂. Just kidding! I love using my baby truck to do adult truck stuff.

In the spirit of the OP, pictured is a 1300 lb. load of RTA kitchen cabinets. They loaded the pallet into the bed with a forklift - I had to unload them by hand. :( Now I need to assemble them.

I will say that the standard tie downs, and in the case of my '24 Lariat hybrid, the sliding tie downs on a track, worked well to secure the load.

Didn't know you can get cabinets disassembled. Let us know how it goes, been thinking about replacing ours but it seems like a big job.

You can also buy just replacement fronts to remove and replace the doors and drawer fronts including the face frames (the cabinet box front the doors attach to and drawers close to). If face frames are good you can just refinish them and buy new doors and drawer fronts. If the boxes are good you can save a bundle!!!

Totally random search, found this, have never done business with them. Example only.

They're known as RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets. They are better quality cabinets that can be purchased at more reasonable prices from RTA manufacturers.

Be careful when hauling this type of cargo. Very dangerous projectiles in event of a collision.
I have landscape rocks to haul. I expect It will wait until spring & I'll put them in my trailer.

That blue is sure a nice color.
trailer might be safest depending on how it's constructed. but in a pickup bed, all the way against the cab wall is pretty safe for people in the truck. if you get rear-ended with a lot of force it can eject rearward, but hey, that's the fault of the person hitting you.

conversely if you had this at the tailgate end of the bed and you rear-ended someone else with force, it will launch towards the cab.

Fortunately, and as planned, only driving .4 miles to drop at lady friends house. Private community, zero other traffic.

Imagine that ! Our Tonka toys actually hauling stuff.
I’ve only got 90 miles on mine,
Still scared to scratch the factory spray on bed coating in my Lariat :’D

I scared too to haul dirt, and then gravel on the spray in coating. And then dragging shovels on it. To better protect it, I put in a large HD tarp first, let front end loader operator dump dirt n gravel in the bed. The tarp also helps to get the last bits of material by pulling, rolling it towards the tailgate, dumping into wheelbarrow.

A warning. Do not let material load get up against a closed tailgate. The load may put pressure on the tailgate latches, and unable to open. If the material gets up against the tailgate, may have to get in, shovel material away from the gate to open it. Or if can, leaves tailgate down.

Ask me how I know. Did that on my old F-250, damaged the latch mechanism trying to open it with material force against it. Lucky for Maverick, can easily reach inside the bed to shovel out n away any material. I talked to the front end end loader operator, asking him to direct the dump away from the tailgate. Easy.

I added a carpet liner to my Maverick's bed, even though it already has a spray-on liner. I got the carpet liner using Ford points, and it pairs perfectly with my foldable bed cover. The combination works great, with only minor water intrusion during car washes.
