After waiting 8 months for my truck to arrive and lots of planning for what mods I wanted I’m almost done 🤣.

It’s a ‘24 XL, 4K, tailgate lock. No other options. (I hate all the electronics).

so the list of stuff is; and most obvious, the wheels. Focal “F448” 18x8 40mm off set. (Don’t get these wheels! They require a center drive extra long lug nut, stupid design) milestar m392 255/65/18 tires. The wheels are color matched with Seymour “gray” color number 61. (For those looking for a matching color inexpensive spray paint.)

I “wrapped” the center section of the front bumper. EGR vent shade's. cheap Chinese Tri fold cover. Lasfit switch back bulbs. Cheap led back up bulbs. A green filter in the air box. A fair amount of faux carbon fiber bits for interior looks. I got a duraliner bed liner but it’s garbage. Fit is just ok. Holes where you don’t need them and no holes where you do. Doesn’t come with the tailgate piece(I dont understand this). So I had to order a separate piece. I have 6 red tie downs (factory ones painted red🙄) there are pre taped holes for 6.

Up next is a good-win rear sway bar. Tint front side windows. And an exhaust system. Also is a bed rack I’m currently assembling to haul kayaks and occasional lumber. (Looks like a Thule but cheap Chinese copy) adjustable height and will hold more weight than I will ever need. Also looking at the Mabett? Fender flares. I like the idea of the black running all the way down the sides. Thanks for checking it out!

That’s a different kind of look you did with the front bumper.

Ya. I saw someone do this to an older escape and thought it looked good🤷🏻‍♂️. I haven’t seen any one else with a maverick do it yet. Maybe I’ll start a trend 😄. It is a pain to work with (the wrap) there’s a reason those guys get paid a lot to install it. It’s not perfect but I did it myself for about $20 bucks.

I can't decide if I like the wrapped bumper or not? 🙃 I like the originality of it.
Can we get a straight on front photo of it?

Congrats on getting an XL!

That tire size, that's what is of interest to me:

Milestar MS932 Sport 255/65R18 111H BSW

Any rubbing?

Did you go with the 65 ratio instead of the 60 ratio to better fill the wheel well or to avoid rubbing in turns if you had the wider tire? Or was it that milestar only came in 65 or 55, so you went with the tall 65?

It's a 35lb tire, are you seeing any appreciable loss in fuel economy compared to the stock 225/65R17?

I read on here that this is the widest you can run with no rub. (None for me, even driveways bumps during hard corners.). Went with the 55 series (height) to maintain the rolling circumference and ride quality (also to fill the wheel well up a bit) some say 265 will work with no/or minor rubbing. I didn’t want to risk it.
Im still in break in mileage (taking it easy) but I haven’t seen any drop in mileage yet. I run my tires 38psi front and 35 rear. I like to corner a bit more than the average person and live around twisty roads. I don’t like my tires rolling under during spirited driving. Ride is a touch firmer and wear seems to stay even across the tread. Only a couple tanks in and the in town is staying at 22.3. I haven’t done much freeway driving yet.

That’s as front on as I have. The right side cut line is a little wonky. Ya have to look for it in person up close. I didn’t want to get into it anymore so it’s fine for me. Badges are wrapped as well. I wish the wrap had a bit more texture to match the grill and other plastics like I said, I like it. Something different🤷🏻‍♂️.

Its different! Still don't know if I like it! Not that it matters what I think!
I definitely like that it is different from what everyone else does.
I remember seeing one with the black stripe up the hood and thinking the bumper needed done to match.

I think the color of my truck helps. On a darker color it might not look as good. 🤷🏻‍♂️. or maybe the other way around. To each their own.
I like to see what everyone has done to there's. I like originality. As long as the owner is happy with it. Thumbs up from me.
I was also thinking of doing the “C” pillar. Give it a “floating” roof look. Just not sure where to make the cut lines (top and bottom). That and it’s a pain to apply.

I miss quoted my tire size!😱. They are 255/55/18’s. I think a 65 series would have rubbed at this width.

Ooooo, I rather like that bumper wrap. Bet that'd look nice with my Cyber Orange! My son has had some of his cars wrapped - I have to see where he went and the cost versus me (or him, lol) doing it. Thanks!!

BTW, good lookin' Mav, man!

It shouldn’t be too much. I think the the piece of wrap I bought was $10. I even had a bunch left over). I did it myself took about an hour. Patience is the key word! A good hot hair dryer will help or better with heat gun. Hardest part was getting the cut line on each side. To do it again I would use a thick piece of tape right at the edge of where you want to cut. Overlap the wrap on the tape. Fresh razor blade (or get a couple scalpels off Amazon). And gently cut the wrap without going through the tape. Pull the tape out from under the wrap. Easier if there is only a couple millimeters left under the wrap. Heat and stick the edge of the wrap down!
And thanks!
