I do the prepay with cash and I have to go into the station to get the local discount.
It lets me buy top tier 10% ethanol fuel at the lower tier 15% ethanol price across the street.

I've noticed that the last dollars worth of fuel is dispensed at a much slower rate that won't trip the pump shutoff, so I calculate the expected fuel to fill (trip 2 miles/trip 2 mpgs) multiply by price and add a couple of bucks so that it will click off when actually full.

Sadly even in Saudi Arabia crime is increasing. This video shows a guy stealing a car right in front of police.
Obviously the owner left the car running or the keys were in it.

Police were more concerned with the damage on their patrol car still can't figure out why people hold onto the vehicle or even try to prevent the thief? Once they're in it's already too late. I NEVER leave my keys in it, running or not. Hell, when I'm at home detailing or working on my vehicles the keys are inside the house lol maybe just a little crazy but I know someone isn't getting them when I'm busy. And I'm not misplacing them during the work at hand.

Also a lack of parenting is part of the problem nowadays. Watching people parent now is like watching someone yell at their untrained dog and expecting results (not saying kids are like dogs, before everyone comes at me lol, just a comparison) if you don't give the proper parenting or training why would you expect good results

So why do the videos on MPG wait 10 seconds and the stop at the second click? I'm pretty sure there is a little room to round off but is certainly bad if you go until the pump will not add gas. Maybe my OCD is showing but I like to round off to the nearest 5 cents. And no, I do not use cash (I refuse to stand in line twice).

Because the videos you are describing have no liability to you damaging your car. Those 6 more ounces aren't worth the risk in my opinion. But it's your car do what you want.

I guess as many as I see getting back in vehicle to look at phone - maybe not.

I know we aren't the only state without a requirement for big vent covers perhaps muffling that sound.

There can be a big difference between 2 clicks with a 15-20 sec pause between, and topping it off.
Always a false narrative in those beneficial warning stories and interpretation going to a 2nd click.

And with listening I can easily tell if the nozzle sensor is a tad off. Or not.
Because if the volume is off from where I expect it to be and no actual sounds of full - I'm going past 2 clicks.

But ya - if you are distracted and not paying attention - then go for the 1 click. Better to be distracted there then on the road! (who am I kidding, changes nothing on the road)
