Do you have an estimate of total weight? I like the minimalistic approach

Made them from scratch. I work in a shop.do you have a source for those awesome bent brackets to the existing inside rail system? Did you buy blanks then clamp and drill? Here is my plan once my truck arrives. https://m.facebook.com/MavRack-101177019308692/
https://8020.net/shop?utm_source=go...e0vVMsC3EzMyYkhg4br5sho_1T476MtYaAiN0EALw_wcBAwesome rack... Since you bought the materials in the past, can you provide the name of the company which makes the rack materials? I'd like to price out the current costs to build a rack for myself. Thanks!!
Maybe 75lbs if thatDo you have an estimate of total weight? I like the minimalistic approach
Very Impressive and the anchor points on the bed rails are ingenious. Thanks for posting.Finished up my homemade rack recently. Built from 1.5” square 80/20 anodized aluminum extrusion and 1/4” aluminum for the brackets. Built it mainly for when I need to haul my kayaks around but will be good for just about anything I need to carry.

Oh I’ve already had plenty of weight on it and plenty of shake tests. The rack is completely rigid. I tend to over engineer just about everything that I build.
Nice work. We use this product frequently for work. If you replace some of the button heads with the hand twistable fasteners you could have a tool free removable rackFinished up my homemade rack recently. Ya they have crossed my mind, McMaster Carr has some T-handle bolts for $3-$4 each.Nice work. We use this product frequently for work. If you replace some of the button heads with the hand twistable fasteners you could have a tool free removable racktheyre more money… but if you made a bed rack outa this stuff you clearly dont care about that part
nice project

Chris,Could you share the angles of the joints (if you have them). The intersection from the crossbar to the upright specifically. Is it 100°? 108°?, or did you just eyeball it?
I think that would be a no-brainer. Look at a site like 80/20.net for all the corner and connector options.Wow this looks awesome! Wonder if it would be possible to make something similar but to work with a hard tri-fold, and Elevate rails as the connecting piece.
