Do you guys have the tow package ?
I'm getting a about 3 miles per gallon less and I'm wondering if the Tow Package is the reason

I have a Ford hitch, but no “tow package “. I have a light trailer that I tow my old motorcycle on occasionally. This trip did not include pulling anything. Just me and a big batch of great music played a little loud! Which means the wife stayed home…

Scratching my head about some of these reported MPG. I haven't changed my 28.6 average more than 0.1 in 28,000 miles.

I have a 24 FX4 AWD and last week I did a round trip From south of Dallas to/from Lubbock, TX About 700 miles. Avg speed was about 70 m/hr. on the Hwy and II averaged 36.2 miles/ gal. 2 people on board to Lubbock and just me on the way back. The truck came with the 4K Tow Package and had no additional cargo.

I average 27 mpg, which I thought was pretty good. 36 not for the OP, did you have a tailwind of 70 mph pushing you all the time...😁

I would encourage you to check your mpg at the pump. The computer readout is sometimes 2 or 3 mpg off on the high side. My Ecoboost started out at 28.2 mpg for the first 3,000 miles. It is now getting between 29 and 30. I have the math to prove it. I have adjusted the AFE bias on my truck so that the mileage is accurate. If you search AFE bias on here you will see how to adjust this.

I just filled up this morning and did the math. 35.8 mpg
I usually get in the mid 34’s on this exact trip, but usually have a passenger and some stuff in the bed. Zero weight this trip…and mostly driving over flat land except for the bit over the PA Poconos. Traffic moved nicely all the way. I mostly kept the speed in the low 70’s…same as the music! 😏
Allman bros, Clapton, Stevie Ray, a little Jimi….

We regularly get over 30 mpg with our ecoboost maverick also. I have got almost 35 hwy best so far. My wife drives more aggressively than I so she gets high 20,s low 30,s. Very happy with the mileage.

Sweet. I waited a YEAR and on the rollover I told them to switch to AWD EB in the VB color. They said NO, your white Hybrid order cannot be changed. So my MPG goes UP in I95 traffic and DOWN on I81 road trips. I'd much rather be on I81, that for sure.

I have a 2023 XLT hybrid. In 95-100 degree heat with AC and short trips less than a mile I get around 30 mpg. Otherwise I get 40 city 45 highway regardless of temperature.
