How is the new Integra??
Great. Gets a lot of heat from people who only remember the GSR/Type-R from the 1990s, but it's true to its roots. The 16-speaker ELS 3D audio is stunning for a car under $40k.

Also oddly it is the same price or cheaper than the Civic Si in today's market. We paid MSRP for the Integra, but the Si - which is considerably less nice - was marked up by $8-10k everywhere.

Hey everyone. I was able to take my first mini road trip with my Mav since I got it a couple weeks ago.
Allentown PA (338’ elevation) to Hershey PA (411’) for a concert. On the way to the concert I was in left lane traffic avg 80 mph in normal drive mode and received 29.8 mpg.
On the way home I decided to take my time. I put the truck in eco mode. Sat for 10 minutes trying to leave the concert and started the drive home. On the highway I found a uhaul and started drafting away going on AVG 60 mph and received 40.7 mpg by the time I got home. Definitely was pretty blown away.

Yep on the highway, basically the same physics - same weight same aero drag. I got 43 MPG on my trip from NY to Boston 230 miles ( went way out west through RT87 and Mass TPK basically 65 mph on average. Not much better than you. But in the city the Hybrid Maverick blows me away. I routinely get over 50MPG.

It's great to see these trucks performing so well. The EB is impressive with power and efficiency. Even without the Hybrid, the Mav is more efficient than any other truck on the road.

Been putting down 700mpt for last 7000m...

Not just some one way downhill, drafting, west to east gulfstream catching, coming down to sea level type selective trip.

999.9 MPG - I put some stuff in the bed of my Maverick and drove it to my shed across the road and got 999.9 MPG. Then I drove it back to in front of my house, and again I got 999.9 MPG. I'm going to try to beat that the next time that I do that.

Who needs a hybrid, you ask?

Anyone who wants to regularly get this type of MPG, without ideal conditions, without "drafting", etc.

Hope that answers your question.
exactly.

Similar stupidity is when Honda Civic Si owners (a car that gets 27/37/31) tell you they saw 40mpg on the digital display, so who needs a Prius?!
A Prius easily averages 50mpg, so the difference of average 31 to 50mpg is huge.

So yeah Ecoboost averages 25 (or 26 fwd). Hybrid averages 37 mpg. True, some ecoboost drivers can top the average, but so can hybrid drivers (I’ve seen 50mpg on my dash of my hybrid maverick). Either way, there seems to always be a 10mpg difference between eco and hybrid.
10 mpg is a big difference in efficiency.

Hey Billy, now I drive mine. That 91mpg, was 31mins. The AC has to run as well here 105°.

Yeah, I have been blasting EPA figures since I got mine 10200m. 51-55mpg, 700mpt.

Heck I get as many electric miles per tank that the ECOboost guys guys wish they got miles per their tank.

Maybe we should organize a fuel economy run..make it an apples to apples comparison?

I can get depending on AC time running on a 79 mile trip with only a 275 foot drop in altitude and the slopes on most of the hills being longer in one direction 61mpg without drafting etc. However due mainly to those longer lower slopes the ice runs longer timewise and on return trip I will get about 42mpg. At one end I have 12 miles of 40mph which normally gets around 43 mpg. This is all without any special special effort. I probably with improving the 12 mile improve the whole 79 miles by 2 or more mpg.
We don't need no stinkin' EVs.

So we no longer measure our "junk" it's gotten down to measuring our gas mileage? Lol

So the guy who owns the Microjoule has the biggest! MPG 8,590.
Everybody can now rest happy in the knowledge that none of you have won this competition.

I drove downhill with a tailwind and my ecoboost actually started creating gasoline and refilled the tank. Good thing the hill was small or the gas tank would have overflowed!
This dude is funnier than most professional comedians.
