Mine is going up though the weather has been warmer and I haven't let it warm up in the mornings. I have 1300 miles and I'm getting 37.8 now. I'm getting some A/T tires installed tomorrow so I'm sure that it won't go up much more or at all after that.

I have exactly half and half highway/city on my commute, with the first ¼ being city, followed by ½ highway, then another ¼ city for 11 miles total. So pretty ideal for a hybrid. However, I've been running in sport mode to break in the engine faster, so it's almost 0 miles electric. Even so, I've been seeing ~32mpg. If this thread pops up again after I break it in and get the first oil change, I'll post a proper hybrid MPG.

It's a shame they didn't put a second electric motor in the AWD hybrid like Toyota did with the Corolla Cross. I bet the fuel economy would be better and the performance would be much better.

I have a 2025 XLT AWD HYBRID and have been getting low to mid 40s until this week. This week it has been really hot, mid 90s to 100 degrees out and my mileage has dropped to mihigh 20s to mid 30s. I always drive in Eco mode and seldom drive on the highway.

The below YouTube mentions Ford said the Hybrid needs to have at least 4,000 miles for the it to break in to get the 40 MPG. I only have 575 miles on mine.

I had an hour drive yesterday, almost all highway, and I got 42.5mpg. It was about 93 degrees outside and my Mav has 7k+ miles on it.

I've got just over 3k miles on my 25 hybrid, so not quite "broken in" yet according to things I'm seeing. However, how you drive has a huge impact. I use Fuelly to track fillups and have a best of 37.4 which was almost all in city driving. Worst so far was 31.6 which was 100% highway mileage w/ 4 adults in the truck (on a 300mi round trip). Over 11 tanks tracked, my average is 33.5mpg. This weekend I'm heading out on a long road trip (2400mi round trip), so it should be interesting to see how that goes.

I got 2,000 on mine. Half way there but it is better then when I first got it even with bigger all terrain tires on!

Just to follow up - I have 5013 miles on my Maverick. I don't have a heavy foot, mostly I drive the the speed limit or a within a few miles of it (above or below). I have been getting mostly mid 40's and even 50's until we hit the hot temps this week. I was just surprised that the heat would have such a big impact on my mileage. I haven't seen 40 mpg in a week and my driving hasn't changed except maybe I've driven a little less than normal.

2025 Maverick Lariat hybrid AWD 1925mi. In 90° F+ I am seeing 32 to 35mpg combined. Please note that I installed 255/50R20 Summit Trail Climber SUV² tires on Mach-E GT wheels. I observed about 3mpg loss versus OEM Wrangler, but have not corrected the tire size in the PCM.

This week my MPG is back to the normal mud 40s. It has been raining and temps have lowered to mid 80s to low 90s. Weird.

My winter fuel consumption is much greater than my summer fuel mileage. Im in Northeast

Winter was averaging 24-30 in town.
Summer... 55mpg all day long in town.

Even highway, im seeing 42+ in summer.

I don’t see anyone posting fuelly actual numbers.

Through 6,600 miles of 60/40 city/highway driving and a few hundred miles of mountain roads and hvac use for the dogs I am at 32MPG on the nose.

Ford Maverick MPG on 2025 AWD Hybrid IMG_9756

My current tank has about 325 miles on it and is 80/20 city/hwy and onboard computer is showing 39.6 - however it is about 7% optimistic. I plan to adjust the AFE bias at 10k.

I have never driven slower or more conservatively in the city than I do with the Maverick. 37mpg average actual hand calculated for me and my lifestyle in Ohio is a complete pipe dream.

It is disappointing in some respects but 32mpg for a vehicle that suits me perfectly and has the capability that it does is awesome - so it’s really about perspective not chasing the combined rating of 37mpg.

I’m paying $0.089 per mile to fuel the Maverick and that’s pretty impressive for the Mav and seriously impressive compared to all trucks.
