I just installed mine a couple of days ago and the holes lined up perfectly and the fasteners fit and worked as well. I have a 2025 XLT hybrid. Maybe you received an older production version or a defective run.

No fuel level on my app either. Been that way for about a week. Try all the standard trouble shooting. Cleared cache. Forced app to stop. Restarted phone, uninstalled/reinstalled. Nothing worked. Logged into my account on the web and it shows correctly so it is communicating the fuel level.
