I see people saying this all the time but I only have a couple scratches and those are not really noticeable. But I also take care of my vehicles and have no kids or dogs.
I personally give 0 F's about the interior being plastic. It gives utilitarian vibe for sure and it's the interior, it should be taken care of just like the walls in your house. It's not that difficult. If you have pets or small children that could be an issue, I've had both. I don't let pets in my car (they can ride in the bed if anything) and I've traded my young children for older more responsible ones a while back.

Yeah it's not a deal breaker for me but utilitarian is just another word for cheap imo. Also I wouldn't let my dog ride in the back of the truck. Especially not the way people drive these days

From driving around this week in a AWD Hybrid, I seem to be getting 32-33mpg at 70-80mph freeway speeds. That is with Yokohama Geolander A/T G015s on instead of the stock tires as well.

City streets mpg I gotta test a bit more

Scratches,
I heard the same thing about my 2021 Bronco sport.
Four years and 58,000 miles later I traded it for this Mav.
I have a ‘Bulladore’ he’s a big boy. Rides in the back on a canvas dog seat cover. Not a scratch anywhere.
I moved the cover into my 24’ lariat.
His feet were all over my back door panels, no scratches I swear.

What's the point here? You bought a 24 now you're looking at a 25?
I never understand this kind of thing, either. Trading from a 2024 to a 2025 will cost thousands, yet the poster is worried about a 1-2mpg hit which would comparatively be mere pennies over the life of the vehicle?

Did I read somewhere that the 4k tow package changes the gear ratio? If so how does that affect mpg?

It is about 2 mpg less adding AWD.
What year did city fuel economy bump up to 42 on the hybrid (I seem to missed that)

In the real world the 4k AWD hybrids seem to be 3-4mpg less on fuel tracking sites than fwd

Funny to read the comparisons to VW back when Dr. Piëch was running the show. Back then VW's interiors were SOO GOOOD that Mercedes delayed the launch of the C and A class to try to meet VW's standards and FAILED! So much of what that man demanded from his team pushed VW into an entirely different class of automobile at a great price point for us. He would engineer parts for the upmarket cars (a $4,000,000.00 Veyron has VW switchgear) and let those trickle down to the Golf.

VW is NOT that company any more. In fact, touch the $75,000 ID Buzz's interior and you'll probably come back saying "damn, that Maverick Lariat is fancy." VW is cheating out and pushing profit margins to survive as it (1) makes bad product decisions and (2) got its ass handed to it with diesel-gate.

The Maverick Lobo is really mind blowing for a parts bin special. That truck couldn't be produced for < $55,000 if it wasn't for some ST parts here and a Bronco's diff from there... Can't wait for them to electrify this thing and put 500 horsepower on it someday
