Hey all - hope to pick up my 25 Lariat hybrid in a few weeks from Granger.

It's a FORD, it's build in Mexico... Just occured to me I don't know if the mechanical design is based on Metric or Imperial. My tool set has both but more Metric options (have had aLotOfMiatas).

Is the Mav all metric? All imperial? Some weird combination?

Thanks.

Some sae, some metric, weird torx sizes, and i understand lug nuts can use a old fashion 4 way lug nut.bad enough you have to have two tool boxes too keep it all in.but our old fashion ford hammer still works just fine on it🤪

Yup, a mix. Not a big deal really but it does take a second once you realize the nut/bolt you are working on is one or the other.

The vehicle is in metric sizes only, along with Torx-plus bolts all over. There are no SAE or Whitworth sizes on the entire truck. A lot of the nut sizes like the lugnuts are picked so that people with only SAE tools will get a loose fit, but still be able to turn them.
