How are everyone's seats holding up? Any real wear, rips or easy staining? Just curious as to the durability of them. Just something that popped into my head since people talking about the plastic interior scratching. I plan to get covers just curious.

Anyway, I’ve noticed his seats, maybe dirty from being used a lot, but the seats themselves look great with no noticeable where or tears

18,000 miles and good as new. Also personally find them extremely comfortable. I've eaten in the car and spilled and dropped a few things (Can you say, "chocolate"?). Seats wiped right up with no visible staining.

Are you referring to the "pleather" seats? If so, too early to tell but tbh, I don't think they'll hold up as well as leather for most folks. I'm pretty easy going on the interior but I suspect it's a total toss up.

I had cloth in my Escape Hybrid and I loved it. It was a very durable material but I have not seen what the cloth in the Maverick is like so I can't comment on it.

I have a Lariat. Those seats are the same seat material as the Bronco Black Diamond has.
They wipe off easily. I bought a cover to put over the console pad. That part is what bothers me the most

Agree on too early to tell for many Maverick lariat owners, myself included, with 26k miles so far.

There are probably some lariats with more than 50k, though, and a few way higher if any of those owners happen to see this post.

But I disagree about how I expect them to wear. Real leather wears more than modern synthetics, attached is a pic from the wayback machine, this was my 1995 M3 with about 60k on the clock. You can only do so much to prep cowhide. My dad had a King Ranch F150 and the seats wore heavily, but I don't have a pic.

Synthetic materials can and do continually improve. The lariat activex seats in my Maverick have held up great, my only complaint is that they're actually a little overly soft on long trips. Weird thing to complain about I guess, but I weigh 180 and I would guess they're even more over-soft for larger folks.

Ford Maverick Maverick seats...how are they holding up? prefercloth

I am only four months and 3,157 miles in. But my Lariat seats look new. The "leather" used in the Lariat looks and feels better than the black vinyl Ford calls "Active-X leather" in other models, include the much more expensive Explorer in my driveway.

The only leather in the Lariat is on the steering wheel, the seats are active X vinyl.

I have a Lariat Mav that will be 2 years old next month. My seats are still looking almost new (this includes 2 camping trips this year)!

2 years with the Maverick coming up in December. While the interior plastics are atrocious, the vinyl on the Lariat has held up well for me. No issues.

Yes, I follow him also. I believe he had to get a new transmission at 80000 miles. He has the EcoBoost, and only showed minor wear on the driver seat. Apparently, this guy drives all over the place. I still can't figure how someone could clock 80000 miles in over a years worth of driving. It bogles the mind.
