How's Your Paint Holding Up ?

AWFUL!!! 17000 miles and it looks pretty beat up. I have Hot Red Pepper color and it had so many chips. I counted around 22 noticeable chips. I still love the truck, but wish I would have wrapped it. It'll need paint before winter.

GREAT! Cactus gray, 9200 miles, picked up 12/23. I do put a coat of wax, just cheap turtle wax on the first few inches of the hood and the bumper a couple times a month, to make cleaning bugs and shit easy.

I am 3500 miles in, about 3K of those all highway and I have no scratches, dings, etc.....Going to go with the paint guys recommendation, realizing this isn't a $100K truck (thank you) and hope for the best! Not spending $500 or more to protect the hood.

Those not looking to spend $$ on a ceramic coating might want to look into a graphene coating which is a hell of a lot easier to apply

Tailgate and you will hit things thrown up by the semi-truck or dump truck in front of you. It's inevitable. Not sure why certain people blame the paint. It's the rock, not the paint.

Got my truck had dealer ppl hood ,grill , and mirror caps. Then I put Adams advanced grapheme coating on entire vehicle . This process took about 7 hours . Looks great
