My thoughts exactly. At 25K, both my axles getting ready to be replaced. But if they are replacing them with defective design, what happens at 50K? Ford is screwing us.
This is becoming HUGE for Ford! DOCUMENT every conversation! Every response and how long it takes them to get back to you. I was told it would take TWO days to get new axles in. Then they said they ORDERED WRONG PARTS! Now, 3 weeks later they say {with NEW representative who asked ME to explain...
I'll see if I can find a young guy to get down there LOL! I'm retired and no longer DO that haha! Doubt if Ford will do it, but will ask. The tech doing the work is getting ready to move to a BUS mechanic job....
Just took my 23 Mav Hybrid Lariat for oil change at 24K. Mentioned a front end shaking during acceleration that just started a week ago. Tech advisor said "Let's go for a drive". I was thinking it was something minor... He saw what was going on during drive and said "I know what that is." It is...
I've had my 23 Mav Lariat Hybrid a year and a half and have no chips with 20,000 miles, many on highways...Felt a couple of hits, but nothing! I am in central Texas, but when I lived in the Houston area, THAT was the WORST!
In Texas, my 23 Lariat Hybrid, $1200/year. Full coverage ($1000 deductible ) Hocheim. And it just went significantly up-was much lower. Tell me again why ANYONE lives in Florida, LOL??
I ordered and received my 23 Mav Hybrid Lariat from Griffith Ford in San Marcos. Although it was supposed to be a 22, I got caught up in that year's delays. But they gave me the 23 model at the 22 price. Good experience overall, and friendly...
I can just say that my cumulative MPG in past total 8 months is 40.3. That is including two multi-state road trips. In town, in a hilly area, I am getting 40-50mpg....
I've found it MUCH better to just show up unannounced. Frequently. Get to know everyone on the floor including the sales manager. Helped alot when I had issues with getting my 23 Mav Lariat Hybrid. All ultimately went well and love the truck!
I have never had good luck with Carvana. I had a 2008 Ranger I was selling with 205K on it (but running great-I bought new and took care of it). They offered $500! I sold quickly on a community Facebook site for $1500.
Inventory? at my dealer this week in central TX they had ONE vehicle in the showroom-a Bronco Sport for 36K... NO new pickup Trucks of ANY type. My sales rep said he felt he was working at a used car lot!
Carvana in Centex offered me a lowball # for my 2008 Ranger that had 205K on it (original owner). I sold it locally for $1500! That was in March when my 23 Mav Hybrid finally arrived (16 months after ordering).
