I keep waiting for them to do one of those grills that works with the Adaptive Cruise Assembly. I suppose its possible to cut it out, but I don't have the skills to not make it looks like a fifth grade took a handsaw to it.

While not something I would probably do, I do like the look. The important thing here is that you tackled a project to make your Maverick "yours" and you did so with professional results. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing your experiences!

I like it very much. Really stands out. I wish I had the patience to do that to my Mav. Well done.

I installed the Raptor style grill on my Hybrid Maverick. Painted the FORD to match the Hot Pepper Red. I like the way it looks, I wanted something in the grill to pop rather than just all being Black. I hooked all the lights to the Passenger side Marker Light in the bumper and then wired the turn signal portion of the white lights to the correct side turn signal wiring in the Headlights. Yes the lower white lights are a switch back sequential turn signal. All in all a nice clean and fairly easy install, took me a couple hours and some of that time was cleaning the back of the bumper cover and the radiator core support and active grill shutters.

Looks sharp. I was going to do the same on my Cyber Orange Mav, including red letters since red is my highlight color. Just went with red trip on the cross bar. Really looks good there!

Wonder how it would look with the background bar and turn signal surrounds in color and the FORD letters in the textured black plastic.

I agree with "Dad"'s comment (post 17). Congratulations, job well done!!! The red lettering is way too much for my taste but you like it and that's all that matters.

Does the OP have stock in Ford? Personally, the first thing I do is take the dealer name off my vehicles as soon as I get home, but if Ford Paid me, maybe.

I have the grille coming myself and really like the painted FORD. Where did you get the paint and did you use a primer and clear coat?
Man, that truck looks massive and awesome. I will want to do something like that to mine if I ever get it. 550 days and counting.

Looks great. I would like it better if the FORD letters where smaller. Where the O and R would be big enough for me. Maybe some sort of letters highlighted by lights.

I like it!

If you like it and installed it, good on you. Don't listen to the negative naysayers always wanting to piss on someone else parade.
