It certainly is.and the grill bar? that's not painted either
I can't see it. I'm blind. Also I would have done HPR on it.It certainly is.
HPR grill bar would be a bit muchI can't see it. I'm blind. Also I would have done HPR on it.
I completely agree. I have another plan in place though, but I'm sure someone will accomplish it before I have time to. Using the base of the "vent" I'd like to completely smooth and flatten the vent making it appear more like a fuel door than a fake vent.HPR grill bar would be a bit much
I only mentioned the fender vent because it takes away from the flow on the sides to have this black plastic chunk sitting there when the whole side could be matched
I completely agree and thought of that long ago. Knowing me, I'd still paint the black plastics with black paint! As somebody with a shadow black maverick, I see the already black plastic trims as an absolute win
Thank you! My first (of three) was an Oxford White XL EcoBoost. Loved it!I personally like my black on white stock Oxford XLT.
But you have a one beautiful job on your Lariat.
Well done. Be proud.
Love the color!Picked up my Maverick from the paint shop today. Like the title says, bumpers and skirts were sanded smooth, prepped and painted. Same with tailgate handle. The grill bar was color matched to the powdercoat on the wheels.
Because everyone is going to ask, expect roughly $2500 for this kind of work from a high end body shop. Location, shop, and paint color will vary (HPR is far more expensive than white or CG).
