Picked up my Maverick from the paint shop today. Like the title says, bumpers and skirts were sanded smooth, prepped and painted. Same with tailgate handle. The grill bar was color matched to the powdercoat on the wheels.

Because everyone is going to ask, expect roughly $2500 for this kind of work from a high end body shop. Location, shop, and paint color will vary (HPR is far more expensive than white or CG).

Love it looks sharp making me want HPR now
Thanks! I always liked the HPR but preferred Cactus Gray and Alto Blue more. Now I'm in LOVE with HPR! 🥰

That would be a sweet shot! With your plastics and my topper we both probably have about the same amount of HPR, with grill bars and wheels matched aswell. Make sure you send some pics to Ford. Thats how the ST Maverick should look!

I really like my Atlas Blue Mav, but I miss the HPR Mav that I sold to my dad.

@daddio211 your Mav is awesome! I personally don't know if I would lower it like you did, but the matching paint and the wheels are totally bad ass.... well done.

The truck looks really nice. Too bad the paint work you had done isn’t standard equipment on the lariat.

Depends on the application really. I'm happy that certain parts of the Mav are just black plastic and not beautifully painted, like this. That looks stunning, but for my application it would need a layer of PPF or it would be chipped to hell in about a month.

Props to OP though - that is a stellar build!

Wow. That looks great. I would love to do that to mine, but I worry about the rocks flinging up and chipping. My wheels stick out quite a bit. I was actually thinking of upgrading from 21" to 22".

Reminds me a lot of a Maverick ST render Ford Authority created. Nice job with the looks.

Curious why you didn’t have them do the fender “vent” while they were at it
I really considered it, but decided it takes away from the "Ford look" of the truck. My builds tend to lean "what the manufacturer SHOULD have built."

Wow. That looks great. I would love to do that to mine, but I worry about the rocks flinging up and chipping. My wheels stick out quite a bit. I was actually thinking of upgrading from 21" to 22".
Rock chips are going to happen no matter what. I've accepted that and will repaint when necessary. Since these plastics aren't RTP the paint likely won't last as long.
