I'm wondering if the $1k increase represents the starting 2023 price, or if they are trying to spike the 2022 price so they can claim a smaller percentage increase when the 2023 prices are announced in August. Hope it's the former...

Not visible yet on the ford.com "Build Your Maverick" page.

It's a pretty dirty move to tell everyone to remove constraints, and then hit them $1k price increase for changing the order.
The price increase would apply anyway if it is built this year. The pricing effective @ invoice date is the pricing that shows in the window sticker/invoice.

My XLT Lux hybrid was 32 something canadian when ordered in October. The window sticker said 35 something canadian.

Ford increased the price and you could not order one. Then they will put it up again for 2023.

Looks like a price increase is coming in soon then.
@fordvideoguy....Assumption is then the "private offer" will most likely be the price difference of your non scheduled my22 order and gets reordered as a my23?

Called my dealer to remove spray in bed liner. Warned me since I was price protected any changes to the order would constitute a price increase

My question was specific to my22 being rolled to my23.....and the "private offer" from Ford if reordered.

I was involved with the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle forums during the past couple decades and this was a very common practice...

This is what you'll see if you edit an order as of now!

I see some things that don't add up. The $1095 for the Ecoboost engine is $0. Equipement group 100A on the XL is standard, AWD is $3305.

That's how they priced it out when I was asking about a XLT AWD

It all got wrapped up in the equipment group

Well....if it "rolls over", as we recently discovered, it will be a brand new order anyway. So any weirdness with this existing order will go away. Haha.

I just checked a similar window sticker and see what you mean about a AWD XL being $3305 for equipment group 100A. The base price for an XL with the 2.0T is $21,080 instead of 19,995.

I asked my dealer if I could change my preorder to my company's name and I got this response for a hybrid XLT w/ splash guards & protective film:

"The current price for the maverick will be $35,515.00 plus G.S.T. instead of the $34,120.00 plus G.S.T."

So $1395 increase and this was in April for a 2022 model.. who knows what the price is now for a 2023
