I think it's coming. New MY23 hopefuls need to prepare themselves.

Starting in the fall, vehicles built with the standard range battery, available on Pro, XLT and Lariat trims, will have a targeted EPA-estimated range of 240 miles – up from 230 miles. 10 more miles of range = 6k added on price 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

$600 for every additional mile of range? Who could pass up a deal like a that?

Didn't they just raise the price on the MY22 about $1k last month? Hopefully they increase will be small for the MY23 at least initially so we can get some price protection before the next increase.
I have a hunch they'll be sold out and Ford will stop taking orders within the first months of order banks opening.

With 7k tax break again ford off set their losses and charged it to the customer .
You bring up a good point. *Tip toe-ing the politics taboo this site observes* This Inflation Reduction Act does stipulate the EV must be manufactured in the U.S. to qualify for the rebate, and the LIghtning is being manufactured in Dearborn so this price increase is not so coincidentally about the same as the rebate. hmmm..

Yup ford about get under cut by Chevy I think . If Chevy is smart . EV WT work truck model will arrive in Spring 2023, while the fully-loaded RST First Edition will land in Fall 2023. More trim levels will arrive as production ramps.

Lightning Pro at under $40K was a bargain. Did they even make and sell any at that price? Kind of like Tesla’s almost impossible to get $35K Model 3.

Maverick took a price increase of $1K for hybrids and a bit less for Eco-boost at the start of July. But yeah, they might do another increase when the order banks re-open. If they know hybrids will be constrained I could even see them putting the prices at parity to encourage Eco-boost orders that they can actually build.
